Barracks Row Main Street is one of the oldest main streets in all of Washington, D.C. Starting at the Eastern Market Metro, it extends down 8th Street SE passing many local businesses with many options for dining. There's also an alley across from Ambar that leads to a gin garden, murals and an art space. The main street hosts many community events, including a popular Fourth of July parade.
