My husband and I called because we had a broken washing machine and a broken burner on our stove. A man came down to look at them. He spoke to us verbally about our washing machine's symptoms and immediately told us it was the computer, and to just run it until it's dead. He did look at the stove, determined the burner was dead, and said he'd order a new one and call when it came in. We NEVER got a phone call. But instead, 6 months later we received a bill for $139 for a service charge for both the stove and washing machine. We called to explain that he never actually serviced the washing machine nor even looked at it, even though the note on the invoice said he did something to it and it was "running fine now" (never happened, it's still broken). And they never ordered the burner for our stove. We called and explained this and they reduced our bill to $85. We ended up googling the burner and discovered its only $39 with instructions on how to put it in. So while we were willing to pay them to come out and fix our washing machine and stove, they did neither and we ended up with an $85 bill for them to do absolutely nothing. And we've been using this place religiously for all our propane and other services because we wanted to support a small business in our town. Never again.

Very helpful group, from Jeremy instore, to delivery & install with Nestor & Michael. My family has always been Sandys people because their prices & appliances are good & reliable. Jeremy went above & beyond, i, not knowing their hours blew in there just as they were closing on friday & he didnt make me feel like a j*** which he very well couldve blown me off & told me to come back. i asked him to hold an appliance til Monday & told him i would buy then. Due to kidney stones on Sunday, & Monday I was out of commission. They agreed to wait til tues after my docs appt, and they were quick as a bunny after i got out. These guys know what they're doing & they were helpful with recommendations especially given we just had a house fire 3 houses up. We are not Home Depot or Lowes people -we will always be Sandys people because of price, service & quality. and there's alot to be said for their people skills.

If you’re even thinking about buying an appliance from a big box store, just STOP and call Sandy’s!!Both Sandy and Aldo guided us through the process of deciding which washer & dryer were the best fit for our home. Delivery was scheduled promptly and I cannot say enough about the team (Nestor, Mike and Nick) that provided the removal of our old washer & dryer and the installation of our new GE washer & dryer. The installation wasn’t without its challenges, but we were assured that everything would work out just fine…and it did! The team was professional, meticulous, friendly and very helpful in summoning both a plumber and electrician to accommodate our unexpected needs. It is this kind of service, provided by Sandy’s, that is everything you cannot find at the big box stores. We would highly recommend Sandy’s for all of your home appliance needs!John & Jody

Sandy and his team are a winning combo. They never fail to impress and do a great job from start to finish. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for appliances and I wouldn’t send anyone anywhere else. Sandy travels far too and delivered to New Haven as well as Hartford. Thank you so much!!

Purchased a large refrigerator. It was no small feat getting our old one out and the new one in. The 2 gentleman that delivered it were fabulous! Very professional and thorough. Got it in with no damage to the appliance or my house. Took their time to do it right and made sure that it was level and the water line was hooked up properly.

Sandy’s Appliances was great to work with! It took me a couple weeks to get back to him with approval and payment, but he had my washer delivered and installed in two days! Sandy and Lester did a great job installing and were pleasant, and neat. Would definitely recommend!

Lester and Mike went above and beyond to get my mother's new refrigerator through a rather cluttered space. Always polite and understanding of a 96 year olds hearing deficit. It couldn't have gone any better, than you! These days I'm always surprise whenever people do a great job with a great attitude.

The guys at Sandy's were very attentive and promptly responded to my 15 year old washing machine that needed repair. They answered the call right away, came when promised, provided excellent service to diagnose and fix my machine and were very easy to work with. The price was very reasonable too! I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again if I ever need an appliance repaired! Thank you for a great job, you have gained a permanent customer! -Sarah
