I went this morning to get my trailer VIN verified. The gas station guy said they can’t do it right now. The guy who does it left for an emergency. Okay. They took my number and told me they would call when the guy came back. So I called this afternoon and they said the guy came back and can do the VIN verification. I left work early to get my trailer and get there before 4. When I show up, it’s the same guy who said he couldn’t do it this morning. Why would you say you can do the VIN verification if you couldn’t? Wasted time and gas.

I went for CT emissions testing. I paid my $20 in cash to the front desk in the shop and waited outside for about five minutes. A guy came and greeted me and took my car in. Five minutes later he drove my car out and said all was good. I was quite happy with the quick service. Lots of parking and easy access to route 7. Will definitely come again. I went there to have my car emissions testing done. When I first went there my check engine light was not working at all the light was burnt out. By law they should not have performed the test because if that light doesn't work that test is supposed to immediately be aborted until the light is fixed. I did not know that. They only do a visual on that light. The inspector there went ahead with the test anyway and charged me the $20. Then he just said my car failed. And then he crossed out the word pass on the test and wrote in fail because he only wanted my $20. The test should have never went forward. He forgot that this is what he did and he told me this himself when I went back for a retest. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the state department of motor vehicles. They are a total ripoff.Now

We had a flat tire on 12/30, I called their number and the phone center said their last appointment will be taken at 430 so I made the appointment. I had our car towed to this place and when my husband asked the mechanic how long it would take, he said “pick it up first thing tomorrow morning, our last appointment was at 2pm” the next day my husband called to ask when he could pick up and the guy told him around 10am which got pushed to 11am so clearly not “first thing in the morning”. They did give us our car by 11 Am. however I was livid seeing as how we got our car towed to them the night before and their phone center was not coordinating appointments with the site - so instead of having my car towed closer to my house (which would have been walking distance) my husband had to Lyft it from Wilton to Stamford both ways which isn’t cheap. The guy seemed apologetic but clearly no one will reimburse us for the $80 taxi ride nor the inconvenience.
