I brought my cat here for almost a year, approximately 10 times (if not more) to see Dr. Padilla. My cat was very very sick with a long list of symptoms. Dr. Padilla’s solution was to start my cat on a new food and that my cat was just old with a GI problem. No blood work was ever collected during this time and my cat kept deteriorating. My requests for blood work were ignored so I finally went to a new vet. During the first visit, the vet immediately said ‘this cat looks like they have hyperthyroidism’. Blood work was collected and he was diagnosed with severe hyperthyroidism which had affected his liver, heart, and kidneys. He almost died and was extremely emaciated. One visit she found the issue. One visit. He could have killed my cat from neglect and incompetence. My cat is now on medications daily and made a complete recovery. I would not trust anything this vet says or does. Be careful bringing sick animals here.

I unfortunately had a poor experience here with Ralph Padilla. The dental exam for my dog was short and not thorough. He didn’t even discuss the risks of anesthesia in an older dog. Overall, he was annoyed when I asked any questions. He told me he couldn’t tell me which teeth looked concerning or potentially needed removed until the procedure… but also said that we couldn’t have a discussion about which teeth would be removed under anesthesia either (like he couldn’t step out and have that discussion with me). As I was about to leave he told the scheduler about 4 or 5 teeth needed removed but when I asked which ones, he didn’t know and said “that back one and whatever ones you said were loose”.

Dr. Padilla saved our cat’s life…..and dealt with me ugly crying multiple times. I’m so thankful ?????? You can tell he’s there for the animals

He is a great vet with a great staff. I have told two people to bring their pets to him. Hopefully he'll have some good jokes waiting for us at the yearly physical.

I was a wreck when I called this morning. I was comforted by the sweetest lady on the phone. When I bought my cat in & was waiting to be called, I witnessed kindness from the staff to all of us in the waiting room. A lady who introduced herself as a groomer came out & helped clean up after a nervous dog who had vomited on the floor. When we got called back I knew my cat was in such great hands. Dr. Padilla and his staff all talked us through everything that was going on. My cat was handled with respect. I left feeling so much better. Such an amazing group of people here.

Our vet Ralph is wonderful with pur cat. This place is reasonably priced, and it is well air conditioned and clean for its traffic and popularity. Highly recommend.

This veterinary clinic is a lifesaver. Not only did they save my dog’s life after bladder stones blocked her urinary tract and could have killed her, they are the lowest cost and greatest with my dog. I will be taking all the dogs in our family here if they have availability because they truly care. My last vet wanted to charge $6000 for her surgery and I was charged less than $1000 here for quality care. I could never have afforded $6000. Thank you so much!

Dr.Padilla and his staff are wonderful!! They took such good care of my baby and they were able to do the procedure he needed at a reasonable price.. I would recommend taking your fur babies here … they are very caring and efficient and they understand a pet parent’s needs.. thank you again west Haven animal clinic

I went here for years until a few years ago I saw someone other than Dr P and he was absolutely horrible. Brought my dog in November for limping was never called with test results, limping went away, come March she starting limping again so I took her back in, Dr didn't even touch my dog told me she was limping because no one ever called me to tell me the results from the first limping issue so it all could've been avoided but still charged me the whole amount for that visit. Now yesterday I took my 3yr old cat in because something was wrong with her eye, same Dr that I had a bad experience with before, very dry, no introduction when he came into the room, tried to get my cat out of her carrier by turning it upside down even before knowing what's going on. Barely even examined her I felt as if I held my own appointment, was told nothing that I didn't already know. Waste of time and money so I am done. I will be finding a new vet!

The doctor is really good and loving with his furry patients. Edited doctor still really good but when I called to see if they could see me with my cat as an emergency they told me no to go to a vet emergency hospital because they dont take walk in, but my sister went with her dog as a walk in and emergency visit and they didn't turn her away and today my cat is dead cus they couldn't even help me when I needed

Affordable prices. Good service you can tell that Dr. Feldman and Dr. Padilla really care about the animals.
