Here and other locations seem like a joke. 0 patients being seen and yet no availability. What are they doing? No patients being seen but can't take a 10 minute max patient? Quest used to be great. Not sure what happened

There’s a sign about concealed carry on the door if you’re wondering how the service is.

If I could do a negative star I would. I made an appointment for noon. They were not even drawing the 11:30 appointment yet when I left at 12:30. "We're short staffed" was what I was told. They Quest should change their appointment structure. Next time I'm using LabCorp or UConn.

Upon checking in to my scheduled time I was almost immediately called in. The facility is extremely clean and the entire experience took less than 10 minutes. Completely pain free. As someone who is always extremely anxious when having blood drawn, this was by far the most comfortable and calm I have ever felt.

OMG what can I possibly say that hasn't already been said about Joyce? I went in for fasting blood work today. As embarrassing as it is, I am 42 years old and still have a crippling phobia of needles/blood draw. Not only was she the most skilled phlebotomist I've ever been to, she was extremely patient and compassionate. Even though it was a busy day, she took her time to put me at ease and made sure I was comfortable. I never felt rushed or embarrassed. I'm so thankful for her kindness. I hope her bosses appreciate what a gem they have in her.

Showed up to a waiting room with 6 people already there, so I expected a long wait. My name was called as soon as I sat down and I was out in 5 minutes. Schedule an appointment ahead of time unless you really enjoy complaining about waiting.

Was there about 20/15 minutes early to my appointment and the machine kept telling me that I was more than 10 minutes late. There is no one to help in there, and the phone number keeps hanging up on me. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE PLACE.

The staff at this location is WONDERFUL extremely professional, kind and have unbelievable patience. Despite the fact that they have been placed in a position where they are severely understaffed ( and have been for a long time ), the staff soldiers on graciously. Joyce and her colleague take the time to devote whatever amount of time is necessary for each patients procedure to be done properly. While at the same time doing so with a level of kindness and caring that places the patient at ease. Phlebotomist Joyce is arguably one of the best I have ever worked with. Over the past year not only has she proven to be a true professional, but overall clearly the glue that holds that office and this particular Quest lab together. She is kind, patient, compassionate and always goes the extra mile. Even after a long day that for her begins at 7am! I have seen her keep her composure despite having to cope with rude , angry and threatening patients. Who manage to distract the lab techs from their jobs by banging on the door and stating they have to use the restroom, then enter the back to only berate her colleague and her for things that were not their fault. Such as problems with the kiosk, over scheduling, wait times due to lack of staff, demands to use the bathroom , complaints about other patients in the waiting room and demanding them to work overtime ( or skip breaks or lunch ) to fit them in and many more. I suggest Quest get these valuable employees some support ( and a raise ) as well as someone to assist in the lobby so that they can do their jobs. Without being interrupted, harassed and constantly threatened by the patients. I also suggest that you validate parking if you are not going to run on time as well.

Awesome! My wife is currently (as I type this; yes, I know I should probably be paying attention to her) getting prepped to give birth. And her lab results, which were promised to be done by now, aren’t. So that’s a delay. Thanks Quest Diagnostics lab team! Sheesh.

This location is tough to find. Parking is a hassle. But the worst part is the actual care I got. I get blood work done at least twice a year. I know what to expect. The phlebotomist was not pleasant. She didn't walk me through the process and stuck me without warning. I usually don't bruise a bit. At most a little discoloration. This time, the area swelled and was painful enough that I iced it. A week later and I still have a massive bruise. Skip this location. It is difficult to access and the staff is neither kind or competent.

Very slow and takes lot of timeWaiting time is too much, I waited for more than close to 1.5 hrs. If it is allowed then I will give only half star..?

I went in for an std testing. The person doing my blood draw said a bunch of strange inappropriate things to me about my sex life and that I would "meet the one" someday?? Why aren't people trained out of puritanical Christian heteronormativity in medical spaces? Never going back here again.

I walked into Quest Diagnostics in West Hartford CT on a Monday morning without an appointment. Entered info to check-in and was promptly greeted by a phlebotomist named Brendaliz. She was welcoming and very CALMING - I never even felt the needle and I was watching it go in! Entire process was so pleasant and quick, it started my week on such a positive note…. a wonderful surprise! (This location is not near me, I just happened to have an appointment nearby.)

No way to call a a real person and google does not being you to the right place. Staff is very rude. The office is too stingy to hire a secretary. That being said. If you need to go, park in the public lot near the entrance for Edward Jones or Liberty. Inside there will be TINY gold name plates with Quest listed
