Signs everyone that masks are required per STATE MANDATE- multiple employees and entire groups of people with no masks. They should have to watch people slowly die of covid.

I live close by so sadly this location is convenient. Every single time I go I remember why I avoid this location. The staff is useless. Do not expect any form of customer service. Also don’t expect the inventory listed online to be correct. Really don’t expect anything except wasted time. That’s the only thing that’s consistent at this location.

I pulled up for curb service and filled out the app to check in to have my item delivered to the car. I waited about 20 minutes and then called the number from my email. There is no number on the curbside signs to call to check in so I had to go through the automated answer line but was surprised with how fast it connected me to a person. After speaking to a person they had my pick up out to me in about 1 minute. If you are going to provide a pick up app then you need to support it properly. I was very disappointed.

Woman at Pro desk was horrible. She had no knowledge of customer transactions or customer service etiquette. She refused to honor military discount attached to my pro account, in addition to refusing to honor a price match with the homedepot.com website. Homedepot policy states they would match, plus add additional 10% off a rival stores ad. Yet prodesk, and manager when called, refused to honor the price match and military discount. I had to scan, with the Home Depot app showing the managaer that the west Hartford location in the app had a lower price. She scanned with her own app and got a different higher. Someone else scanned with their app and showed lower price as well. She made prodesk take a picture of both of our phones showing the difference. She ended up authorizing the price match with their own website after going back and forth about the Home Depot policy with me. After manager left, Prodesk help desk rep made me feel like I was trying to scam them and ran to and called several different team members while I stood and watched, to make sure I wouldn’t try getting more discounts and it was embarrassing, nor my intention. I just asked for a price match (per policy) and honor a military discount (which homedepot offers because I served my country). I ended up having to go to customer service to help with my transaction because prodesk and a regular cashier weren’t knowledgeable on how to handle my transaction. Prodesk rep sent someone else to come to the opposite end of store to tell customer service not to give me more discounts. Again making it seem like I was out to scam them. I am a pro member who spends a RIDICULOUS amount of money at homedepot. My Military discount is LINKED to pro account per the Home Depot app. This was disgusting and disrespectful on this stores behalf. I will not shop here again. Shame on them.

We had terrific experience in this Home Depot. We were helped very soon by the friendliest HD rep, Dwayne. He is the best. Thank you Dwayne for making HD West Hartford the best HD to go to!!

Since online orders started, there are no carts available. navigation around all the loaded carts is annoying. Plus now all the holiday cardboard displays are in the way. They need to fix this.

Went for a clothes drying rack. Ask store worker where it might be located; he didn't know. Although, in his defense, he tried to be as helpful as possible by asking another coworker for the information. No one knew where it might be located. Asked another store worker and he said that they haven't stocked those for years, even though their website says they carry the item. Shame on you Home Depot. I expected more than what I experienced.

Customer service staff at this HD is terrible. Ask for help to locate an item and they will just send you on a wild goose chase all over the store.Asked 4 people for an item that had over 50 in stock yesterday and all they would do is bark then point to the opposite side of the store. I went to the service desk and ask for help, and I got a major attitude from the little lady behind the counter. Why are you letting the inmates run the prison Home Depot? Just close this store. Inventorys are never right, store is messy and nothing is in the right place and most of all, the staff could care less. Never going back to this dump.

I want to thank new store manager Trevor, the assistant store manager Rashaad, and the door department manager Joe for helping me to feel better about my shopping experience at Home Depot West Hartford. I was very frustrated and was about to leave that store when I saw Trevor and I explained how I was feeling. He and the team he was with immediately gave me the help that I needed. Joe’s expertise made it very easy for me to make up my mind on the door I wanted. This team should be commended for jumping into action to ensure that I left the store with an excellent customer service experience. Kudos to the West Hartford Team!
