I’ve stopped in to this Verizon store twice in the past couple of months with different issues. The employees there are so helpful and so nice. Both times they were able to fix my issue and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need

THE MANAGER LIES. And after reading more recent reviews, I’m not the only one that’s gotten lied to straight to their face. This place is a scam.
Had an appointment scheduled here for 6pm on 5/22 to drop off my iPhone l had to trade in. Showed up 3 minutes early, and the doors were locked with 4-5 employees all sitting at the tables on what looked like their phones, with just one customer visibly being helped. After knocking on the doors trying to explain I have an appointment, they just kept shaking their heads no. In this time, 6 other people drove up and were also locked out.
The manager came to the door to let the customer that was inside out, so I ran up to ask him why the doors are locked an HOUR before closing time, especially with scheduled appointments. He said they are short staffed, which obviously made me question what the 4-5 employees were all doing? At first he tried telling me to “come back another time,” but I was on the tail end of the time I was able to drop my trade in off before losing the $800ish trade in credit. Told me I should’ve just come earlier, but I was in and out of the hospital after I processed this trade in sale so that was impossible. He decided to look up my phone number while still making me stand OUTSIDE of the building and then proceeded to tell me I still had “18 days” to come back and drop it off, which was a LIE confirmed by the Glastonbury CT store. I only had 2 day. Waterford refused to help me or give me an explanation as to why I almost lost my trade in credit and they were rude the entire time. After being a customer for at least a decade I would hope for much better customer service (and NO LYING from the MANAGER just so they could go home early). Either STAY AWAY from Verizon or avoid Waterford at all costs. I’m looking at new services now and definitely not recommending it to anyone I know, not that losing my business would make any difference for them.

Worst place ever we are terminating our contract after two months of false advertisement the first bill was a little under $200 not to mention the next two months we’ve paid $400 and the service isn’t great so we will be taking our business back to Xfinity. Store Manager doesn’t interact with customers very rude and is never available for help or complaints lazy employees. Don’t go to Verizon!!

James from Waterford Verizon was very helpful! He was patient and informative. He worked very hard on getting me the best deal for my situation after my iPhone suddenly stopped working and I didn’t have insurance. Thanks James—didn’t catch your last name but wish I did! :)

Use to love coming to this Verizon store, have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years. We lived in CT for about 4 years and I needed to do a cross country move for the military and before leaving we stopped at Verizon to add a plan for my son’s tablet. While we were there the manager informed us of a promotional line for being a customer for 10 years or more. A promotional line that was suppose to be for a free line and a free phone that would never cost us anything ever! I asked after how many months would it be before we were charged because it’s usually like 36 months before you have to pay. They told me it was ABSOLUTELY FREE, NEVER HAVE TO PAY IT WAS A GIFT FROM VERIZON, a line on them for being a valued customer. I now live in WA state and wouldn’t you know a few months later I’m locked into a device payment plan and getting charged for a phone and a line I was told would be ABSOLUTELY FREE !! I can’t get ahold of this store because Everytime you call it takes you to customer service. This stores manager LIED to me and absolutely SCAMMED US. Now the worst part is I mailed the phone back and they won’t remove it from my plan because they said I’m in a device agreement. So I’m continuing to be charged for a phone I no longer have ! DONT EVER GO TO THIS STORE THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND LIARS

TOTAL INCOMPETANCE DOESN'T DO THEM JUSTICE. NEVER AGAIN!
What started as a simple "add a line, get a free phone" promotional offer got completely screwed up by this store. They ordered the wrong phone, forgot to cancel the added line, which led to Verizon trying to charge me for a line I never had, and apparently an offer that was completely misrepresented by this store. When I went back to fix what they screwed up about an hour earlier, they had no idea what they did.
Just this afternoon, 10 1/2 hours+ later and several weeks dealing with Verizon's "wonderful customer service", it seems that Verizon phone support finally rectified the bad situation this store put me in.
It would be great if Verizon did some kind of training so that employees know what they are doing, and don't put customers through this kind of nightmare.
I will never ever step foot in this store again. Horrible customer service. If I could give them a NEGATIVE 5 Stars, I would.

I was just in on 1/4/23 to get help setting up my new iphone 15 pro. I highly recommend this store! The man helping me was professional and very helpful. He literally walked me through everything I might experience and helped me get all of my data transferred. Everyone was so helpful and patient. I left feeling confident and thankful. I would give a 10 out of 10.

Walked into store with confidence that an associate could help me fix my issue with my sim card, I was assisted by Justin Allen who was helpful and professional at first but it was like a flip of a switch as soon as he couldnt figure out a solution to my problem. Towards the end of my experience he became extremely passive aggressive and straight up rude with my situation and told me "im off the clock soon" and rolled his eyes. Ive worked in costumer care all my life I understand the frustration of being kept late but announcing that to a paying costumer is unacceptable and ive NEVER once told a worker in a professional setting to "please calm down" but i had too with Justin because of the attitude he was giving me. I got up and walked out without no solution to my problem. will be reporting to corprate...

Every time our business has to acquire a new device our plan hits new highs (over charged) and then the multiple phone calls to customer service ensues…. Always ending in lost time and money.Verizon needs better everything !!! Sick and tired of all the deceptive lies.
