I have been bringing our family pets to Dr Bach for almost 30 years and have always appreciated his dedication, knowledge and care of our animals. Although I have two others vets closer to my home, I travel to see him because I trust him and like him. It's always a pleasant visit with Dr Bach and Lynn. Even though he has reduced his hours, I still plan to go to him until he retires.

Dr. Louis C. Bach has practiced extraordinary veterinary medicine for over 50 years (45 of them here at LCVC). A credentialed Ivy League school grad, he has spent his career as a compassionate, professional and sensitive practitioner to pets and pet owners. I have read in horror these 2 reviews that in no way describe this veterinarian or the climate we provide here at LCVC. The bill described can only be attributed to products or medications purchased by the client, since I have never seen a bill that size issued due to service in my time working with my husband. The treatment of the animal is not his doing since animals are in the arms of their owners and under the owners control. Yes, he will speak harshly to a misbehaving pet, since he is risking his health and the owners when treating that animal. I wish unhappy people would address their concerns directly with us and not air their grievances on the internet where it serves no useful purpose but to sully a practitioner's good reputation as he enters into his retirement years. On a personal note: the care given to all our family pets; cats, dogs, birds, cows, pony, geese, ducks, rabbits, squirrels, deer, whether they be house pet or fostered outdoors, or referred to rehabilitators has always put the needs of the animal first. I wish everyone could have a vet like Dr. Bach!He has cared for my animals and cares for the owners just as much,he takes the time to explain what needs to be done and why...this is exceptional care folks...get it if you can!

We have been taking our dog and several cats to Dr. Bach for 30 years and cannot say enough nice things about him and this practice. He is a very compassionate vet and can handle any animal with ease. He won't put your animal through a lot of expensive and unnecessary tests that he doesn't feel will help your animal. He can usually diagnose a problem just by examining your pet. We have used other vets in the past when Dr. Bach was on vacation and I would also recommend Hebron Vet. They are also very thorough and not overpriced like Bolton Vet.

We have gone to Leonards Corner literally for decades, through three dogs and two cats. Dr. Bach is just extraordinarily good, completely up-to-date on relevant knowledge. He and his staff are kind and responsive. We have had simply excellent service over many years and many pets. I don't who in the world these other commentators are talking about.

We have been a client for 15 years. If you need a vet go elsewhere, if you want to pay him as a consultant and want to listen to him talk about himself your at the right place. He has scammed me two times now. I'm obviously very upset!

If your looking for a consultant he may work. If your looking for someone to actually actively exam and touch your dog or if you have an aggressive dog I wouldn't recommend him. We used him for over 15 years and well he needs to retire now instead of taking people's money for talking about anything but your pet. I'm sure every case is different but the last two times he ripped me off!! Instead of charging me two office visits for my two dogs to get dental estimates, he should have said he wasn't doing surgeries anymore instead of taking my money. Then yesterday, charging me $50 not touching my dog to examine her but go off my word. Told to go somewhere else, he's just "helping people now " consulting, but about himself and who he knows, his daughter is a vet blah, blah. Retire instead of taking people's money for no service and wasting my time and gas to hear about your aches. My pet is my priority! We used him for over 15 years he was a good vet, things have gone downhill! We used to tolerate him talking about himself and not letting you get a word in, but now it's robbery of time and money and our pets care most importantly!

Dr. Bach has provided excellent care of my dogs for years. He always helps me understand what their health concerns are and how to help my dogs stay healthy.
