This is a small Shell gas station, with six pumps, and a small convenience store. It's in a beautiful location, at the corner of a scenic stretch of Route 1, and Route 1A, the access road to historic Stonington village. The business looks appealing from the outside, but inside is a bit worn down. I was annoyed that they were out of 12-ounce regular or blueberry Red Bulls (my wife's favorite drink), but they did have Gronk edition Monster energy drinks for only $1.10 - so cheap, I had to ask the cashier to repeat the price, because I thought I'd misheard him. I can't give more than two stars, however, because there is no customer bathroom. When my wife asked the cashier, he told her that "someone lost the key," which my wife knew was just a lame excuse for "no bathroom." The parking lot is plenty big enough, but for some unknown reason, cars seemed to struggle to move around each other. There is a building that appears to be a nursing home to the left of the Shell station, and there are two picnic tables and some trees at the left edge of the gas station's parking lot, which was a nice spot to enjoy our drink before we hopped back on the motorcycle.
