Moved in 3 months ago. Absolutely love the apartment, love the facilities. Most of the staff is helpful and friendly (special shout-out to George and Tino who drives the shuttle that takes you to the train station every morning for free!). Pool is great, gym is great. I would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that since I moved in the dryer machine in the apartment is not working. I have opened several tickets for maintenance.
Edit: the dryer was fixed and they were great about it

Terrible Management company. Had a leak for over 2 years in my apartment. Nothing ever don't to fix the issue just continued raising my rent. left before my 750k square feet costed more the 3k. INSANE. They DO NOT CARE about residents, just $$$. If you move here you will be forced out within 5 years.

Now that I'm finally gone from this horror show, allow me to share my full experiences living at TGM Anchor Point.
I'll begin with my move in day. Soaked in sweat on a humid July day, I get a call from David at TGM (who absolutely REAKS of hangover breath). He asks me if I've set up my utility accounts. I told him that I had, to which he says "Oh great, well we need you to redo them, we need to move you to a different apartment."
This is on my moving day. Surely they knew the apartment wouldn't be ready the day or even week before? They wanted to move me into a different apartment, sight unseen and under immense pressure. I already had the UHAUL. I already had most of my apartment in the truck. I drove to TGM to discuss, and David was quite the smug, condescending little cretin, in a nutshell telling me to take the apartment or live in a storage unit. There was ZERO empathy, hustle, or care given to my or my situation.
In the end I had to convince my landlord to let me stay an extra 2 weeks while TGM prepared the apartment that I, you know, put a deposit down for and had a move in date for.
The hallways of the apartments are absolutely disgusting. Brown and beige everything. Walls, gross carpeting with giant mystery stains every 25 feet. Lets also not forget to mention the infamous pothole at the entryway which gets RAVE reviews here.
Inside, at a glance, things look OK. But once you settle in you will start to notice just how cheap literally EVERYTHING is. Every appliance, every water spout, knob, everything is the cheapest garbage you can get at your local Home Depot. You WILL be calling maintenance, and maintenance does NOT GAF if you're home or not. They will just come in while you're at work, regardless if they have permission or not.
What half sold me on this place was the private theater room. As a movie guy, I thought I'd be down there all the time. As it turns out, it's only open during leasing office hours. Which close at 6pm. Imagine paying to live in a "luxury" building with a theater and you can only use it during the hours YOU'RE WORKING?? Want to bring a date back to your place and watch a movie? Too bad, closed. Wanna watch the Super Bowl? Too bad, Sunday. Are you 73 and want to watch The Price is Right on the big screen? TGM is YOUR spot!
The basketball half court exists, I suppose although the floor was torn up for quite a while. Gym equipment is OK and there's a racquetball court.
Best part of TGM? The package room. Packages are received and processed quickly and securely. But that shouldn't be your reason to move in here. If you want a ridiculously overpriced apartment and get treated like a cable customer, by all means apply here. If you have a shred of dignity and self-respect, find literally any other place. Except The Residences. Good lord.
Edit - I see TGM has responded without addressing any specific issue I brought up and had nothing to offer but a bunch of "Awwwwww, Sowwwwwy....." Stay away from this place and their evil level of unemapthetic greed.

Amenities and Location on the water is about the only thing good about TGM. The leasing office is a mess! Thin walls.

150 Southfield Ave Stamford, CT - I cannot say enough good things about the leasing office and tenant facing staff at TGM Anchor Point, specifically Sher Z and George K. Their professionalism, friendly & proactive approach and ability to work together, made my move as seamless as could be.
I feel right-at-home at Anchor Point and love my new (spacious) apartment and amenities! Thank you!

We have moved every 2 years over the past 8 years, and TGM has been my favorite place to live thus far. We spent two years in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment on the first floor of Building 2. We enjoyed our two years and would have continued our stay for another year but moved for job-related reasons. We originally chose TGM for many reasons, but the main one was that the comparative leasing costs were the lowest in the area for an apartment community with larger apartments and amazing amenities.
Besides the fantastic location by the water, the 2-level gym, ½ basketball court, the racquetball court, theater, conference room and outdoor pool (quiet during the weekdays!), the best thing about Anchor Point is the staff! We were initially greeted by George who is one of the most pleasant people I have ever met, and his pleasant demeanor did not change throughout the full two years. George (as well as the other leasing agents) work in the leasing office year-round and was available for all questions I had, simple or complex. If I did not have time to stop in the leasing office during office hours, I simply emailed him and he always got back to me immediately, or the next day depending on the time I sent my email. If it was George’s day off, Cher was always there to help in his place, and I also received the same pleasant demeanor and response.
The maintenance team is also to be commended! Maintenance tickets can be placed online, and non-emergency tickets were answered within 24 – 48 hours (about 2 days). When we first moved in, I (being tall) noticed that the top of the microwave was cracked and aesthetically was not pleasing to MY eye and we noticed that occasionally the timed re-heating mode did not work properly, so we put a ticket in and received a brand-new microwave a few days later. Similarly, the washing machine died in the second year of our lease, and we received a brand-new washing machine, the same day.
Having Lenny, the concierge for handling packages, booking amenities (only theater and conference room require booking), and handing out treats to dogs and humans available until 9pm most days was super convenient! I once went to grab my mail and locked myself out of my unit and the concierge was able to provide me with a separate key and key fob!
There is always some type of food truck available for lunch on Saturdays in the front circle, a donation area for food pantries and dog shelters year-round in the lobbies, as well as a wonderfully delicious holiday party for tenants at the Holidays.
The only complaint that I have about living at TGM is due to other tenants, not cleaning up after their dogs, and the neighbors directly above us had a dog that got zoomies quite often and a basketball fan who liked to bounce their ball right above my bedroom! But these are things that could happen in any complex and are between neighbors to rectify if they choose to do so. I did not because I love dogs and kids!
There are so many other wonderful things I can say about TGM, but it is clear, I would highly recommend leasing here.

I have lived here for 3 years and I am a pretty demanding guy (have moved 8 times).
The gang in the front office (Dan, David, George and Sher) never roll their eyes when I stroll in with another request. :) They are always extremely helpful. When it comes to maintenace, they are very responsive, professional and pleasant. Over the past 3 years, I was having issues with my refrigerator and dryer and the solution ws to replace them with brand new within 24 hours! For an apartment building, you are going to be impressed with the gym, aerobic area and (inside) basketball court. Put it high on your must see list before signing a lease.

I rented at this property for a 12 month lease. I work at a "preferred employer," and also paid my rent, electric, gas, trash and amenities on time for the entirety of my lease.
I wanted to move out of the unit I lived in on the 2nd floor because the bedroom wall was adjacent to the industrial room where the trash chute was. Long-story-short, the noise produced from other tenants throwing their trash down the garbage chute 40x a day (but even more on weekends) felt like the equivalent of living next to a dumpster, albeit a VERY overpriced dumpster. I believe there are about 16 "defunct" units that line the 8 trash chutes in either building. The noise is very loud and obviously there seems to be a fail here in terms of the building's engineering - the noise was like listening to dump truck lift a dumpster and pour it's contents into its bed (40x a day.) I complained to management and no action was taken regarding my complaints.
With all that being said, the amount you pay in rent at this building due to "location" is foregone when you consider the "quality" of the building. EVERYTHING needs to be updated, from the puke-colored hallways & carpets, to the appliances in the units - my ice machine was broken, hot water did not work, dish washer did not dispense dish soap, and the dryer had to be run 2x for clothes to dry etc. Not to mention the huge pot hole in front of the automatic gate. It is the epitome of corporate residential properties - disconnect between tenants and management, poor maintenance, and general negligence due to the disconnect. My recommendation is DO NOT RENT HERE.

Cars get broken into frequently and security obviously lacking. Security Gate is not maintained and often broken.
