We lived at this apartment complex for 1 year and would have likely stayed longer if we didn’t need to finally become adults and buy!We secured a lovely one bedroom apartment. Since we first signed, the team was great. Shoutout to George and Benny! They were the best. The amenities are great and you can’t beat the view by the water. For the VALUE, this place is 3 1/2 stars. As a disclaimer, please do not expect a modern building. It has its disadvantages. One of the elevators was broken for 6 months. Thankfully, it did not impact us as much as senior citizens who were above the first floor. The basketball court was down for majority of the year and pee stains were seen on the common carpets almost everyday. Not to mention the fire alarms going off in the middle of the night on SEVERAL occasions in the Winter.Lastly, please be weary of the location. There was a murder in the neighboring park and management never told the tenants what happened. We learned through the police department. I would have expected a simple text message alerting the tenants what happened. As you may have gathered, it has its pro and cons. Overall, the place caters towards working couples; it is not an ideal place for children or small families.

Highly recommend looking at TGM Anchor Point if you are moving to Stamford! We loved the location, it is not often you get a retreat from the city while also still being very close to downtown. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and those that live in the building seem happy to be there, we immediately felt like it was a community and not just an apartment building. The apartments themselves are nice and the amenities are among the best offered in the area!

Lived at TGM for 2 years and had a wonderful experience. The leasing staff were great especially George. He was always pleasant and helpful. Lovely park for afternoon strolls.

One of the elevators at Building 1 have been broken since winter 2022. The basketball court was down 80% during my first year here. The managers always come up excuses about not able get them fixed right away.In Jan 2023, we got lease renewal notice. The management still charges us an amenity fee but a small percentage of concession fee. I tried to talk to the management about getting more concession fee to compensate for the broken elevator and the basketball court. They hinted that so many people want to move it so it doesn't matter if I want to move out due to poor management. I saw this post today and decided to say something. This one star is for Benny in the mail room.

I inquired about an apartment and informed Sheryl in the leasing office I had a dog. She was responsive and we set up a tour. I arrived with my dog. She said she couldn't show me the apartments as my dog wasn't allowed in the apartments and claimed ' fair housing laws'. I suggested he can sit in the hallway then. She smugly said no. She knew I had a dog and she offered no help in finding a solution to still view the apartments. She was very rude, offered no apology or reschedule. Just short obnoxious answers to any suggestion I had. She made none. If this is how they treat ppl when they are trying to fill apartments, I'd hate to know what they are like when you sign a lease. She was nice enough to send me a ' cancel tour' email after I left. Nothing else.Stay away. And I'd recommend management review customer service skills with Sheryl Zoufaly in leasing. So nobody else drives all the way there and be treated so poorly.

My experience so far has been amazing in this apartment building, everyone is super friendly and it’s a great place to live. My one bed room apartment is spacious and the design is great to maximize space for everything you would need. I fit a king bed comfortably with 2 night stands in my bedroom, the bathroom is big, and the kitchen and living room are a great size. George (Front Desk) Sher (Front Desk) , Charlie (Maintenance) & property managers Dan, Dave are all amazing to work with. From the start they have been so accommodating and are always there to answer any questions and help with anything that you’d need. Thank you for a great experience living in this building.

We lived at this apartment complex for 5 years and would have stayed longer if we didn’t need to finally become adults and buy! We started in a 1 bedroom and then moved into a 2 bedroom since the value can’t be beat at this complex. Since we first signed, the team has been great. Every issue we had was swiftly resolved and I can’t say enough good things about the Concierge team, always a welcome face and they do their job professionally. The amenities are great and you can’t beat the view by the water. We spent many walks along the boardwalk. Highly recommend living here, it’s a great Stamford experience without being right in the center of town. Thanks to the entire TGM staff for providing a wonderful renting experience!

I lived here for 6 months. I really loved the apartment. It's was quiet and clean. It was a fresh start . The first 1-3 months were great but then I noticed some things that I didn't expect: loud music blasting from cars parked in the garage and from new neighbors moving in. People smoking weed, strange smells, people with dogs in their home constantly barking, Then the tenants changed: it seemed like section 8 families were moving in. It went from upscale apts to NYCHA .

Worst building for the prices and rent paid. Office hours in the main office are unpredictable at best. I have been outright lied to one occasion because staff was just not interested in checking things for me and following up. I asked for a new parking spot. I was told there was no open spots. I watched for 3+ months, and saw spots that were blatantly open and never used. The staff just did not want to do the work. Most annoyingly, the facility is not kept clean - not even basically clean. The Underground parking garage is filthy and has never seen a power washer. My feet get caked with filth after walking through it. The garage also often reeks from garbage sitting in dumpsters for long periods, and I often have to dodge dead birds on the ground of the garage. The pipes in the basement are often leaking and drip waste. Just gross. I cringe every time I enter. The hallway carpets are about 30 years old and smell. In the summer, when humidity is high, the smell is unbearable. The trash room also reeks, even in the winter. I have seen dog pee stay in the elevator floor and become sticky and smelly for 3 weeks. Take your money else where.

Two stars, and not one, simply because the rent is lower than others. However, against that, you have to put up with massive trash accumulation and smells in hallways, very poor maintenance (water leakage), pet urine on carpets throughout, and most importantly rodents (rats/mice) that make there way inside apartments from under doors because seals/weather striping/jams have deteriorated and gone long ago and management is ignorant to the health dangers and the fact that this a building code. This place has the potential but at the moment it is disgusting.

This apartment is terribly maintained. Mechanics and appliances are old, every time somebody showers there is loud banging in the bedroom the entirety of the persons shower in the apartment above. My roommate and I have not been able to breathe normally while living here, the HVAC system is so dirty ( and yes we have had the filter changed multiple times). The garbage room is often backed up with garbage erupting out of the shoot. The garbage disposal on the sinks do not work. There was a leak from upstairs in our hallway and the carpeting was never replaced now there is mold below and the wall is falling apart where the water damage is. The gym is very dated and never cleaned. There is not good cell service. They do not put the chairs out for the pool in the summer. We loved our leasing agent here but not worth all of the disappointment of living here.

If you like staying at a Marriott Courtyards (which is to say dull, bland, non-inviting, stained carpets in the hallways), then this is your place! Many things are wrong here...- Security - although the property is gated, the garage doors are always open. Anyone can get in. Two weeks after moving in, my personal property was stolen from a locked storage room and the staff could care less. I was told to call the police. Zero security cameras.- Staff - too busy to care. Generally, not pleasant.- Apartments - very dated, cheaply made, mostly non-working 15 yr old appliances. Thin walls. Every room and ceiling painted the same drab beige color. Like living in an asylum.- Property - the main reason I moved here, but it's not what I hoped. It's next to Bocuzzi park, which is a drug dealer haven. Police are there at least once per week. Loud music playing well into most nights. The property grounds are essentially a dog toilet. It's close to the water - so that's good, I guess.- Amenities - average at best. Basic gym equipment. Pool is ok, but no furniture. The theater has old connections, so it's hard to use. Basketball court is good, but the problem is that it (and the theater) is only open when the leasing staff is working. So if you work during the day and come home at night, you will never be able to use these amenities. Also, staff goes home at 5pm on weekends, which means no movie night for you! They do offer a coffee machine, which is nice, but no matter which button you press, you get plain black :(For the money, it's not even close to being worth it. Look elsewhere.
