I live in one of the buildings under their management. The gentlemen that actually do the work on the building premises are great! They do whatever they can to help when they can. Sarah Bernardo and her team (or lack of one) are absolutely horrendous. Lack of communication from their end with ongoing issues - garage door that took forever to replace and get back working, laundry room has been out of commission for going on 3 months exactly today, one of the building's glass front doors broke and not a single update from their end unless you call, email, and essentially harass them. Definitely check their website and ensure they aren't managing a building you're moving into. They're useless.

It's been close to a month and a half and Plaza has still not repaired the light out behind my unit despite putting up new solar lights elsewhere in my complex. I have submitted my request 6 times and absolutely zero action.
Plaza Realty is the absolute worst management company.

Avoid living in any property managed by Plaza Realty & Management Corporation. A resident in the unit above me hired a painter that set off the sprinklers and ruined several units (including mine) along with many common areas in my building. This incident happened on February 6, 2024 --- two and a half months later, the reconstruction has not even begun. No care or concern for the lives of their residents --- no sense of urgency and also no start date provided for the beginning of the reconstruction! The original timeframe I was provided for the completion of the project was 3-4 months, now as of yesterday, they are saying 6-9 months or more. This is completely unethical and taking extreme measures to ensure they take action on this case immediately.
Update: In response to the additional message that was added to the response below --- defamation is not the motivation; we discussed this specifically on our call, so I was surprised to see that written below afterward. I am simply shocked that Plaza Realty & Management and its ownership are fully satisfied with how they are handling the situation and how comfortable they are with having no concrete timeline for repairs (and then speaking to the residents disrespectfully as displayed below). I don't know of any other industry where these gaps work. If that's the way you'd like to run your business, I'd like to wish good luck to you as well!

Horrible experience. Very unresponsive and far too expensive for the services they provide. The garage doors into and out of the parking garage are always broken, which means they are left open leading to car break-ins and other security issues. Cost goes up every year and building conditions continue to deteriorate.

my client asked me to share this since he does not have a google account...beware of this company and look at YELP reviews tooThis is the worst property mgmt company ever!Avoid buying in any complex that they manage because you will be so frustrated....and I mean FRUSTRATED!They are arrogant, they take forever to fix problems and most of all , they just don't care about the residents.They did not reopen the gym/ pool for over 18 months during covid when every other complex in Stamford was opened within 6 months. They did not give us homeowners a refund in common charges for the money they saved but instead raised the common charges the following year so a double slap in the face. More recently, they botched a paving job of the entire complex. They sent out an email the morning of the paving to move all cars. But if you were out of town or didn't read the email, or didn't receive the email, you got towed.I would give them zero stars if I could...that's how bad they are and the manager there Mike H is a pompous arrogant idiot.

In the past it’s been difficult to deal with management companies and an HOA to get needed exterior work completed. John Rubino, has been extremely responsive and helpful to remediate several issues in both a courteous and timely fashion. It’s been a refreshing change.

Every time I've communicated with someone at Plaza Realty they are nothing but helpful and always get back to me the same day. This is refreshing as great communication is always appreciated. Wanted to also send a special shout out to Eve Altieri, Courtney Baldwin, and Michele Aikler for their constant professionalism.

No comment really!! The receptionist is a doll.. if you need to speak to Eve u may as well hang up !! Her disposition is very abrupt and not helpful!! I personally wouldn’t move into anything they’re in charge of! I live in the woodside green location! It’s turning to garbage! Maintenance is high! Nothing gets done! The only thing the board loves to do is check the parking passes on a Saturday morning!! The whole place is falling apart including washing machines n dryers! I’m selling asap this place is getting very ghetto

They do repairs in a timely manner, only issue is outside work needs to be done… power washing , bannister repairs, etc.

Having had multiple properties managed by Plaza Realty and more specifically, Walter Palma, I have found them to be a pleasuire to work with over the many years. Walter has been curtious, understanding and prompt to responde/take action every time I have reached out to him. Plaza is lucky to have such a talented and loyal team member.

I live in a smaller townhouse complex. Plaza (I work mainly with Richard and Courtney B) does a phenomenal job at our complex. Very receptive to emails, professional, and committed to making the complex somewhere I’m proud to call home.
