La Placita is pretty much our local sketchy bodega. Tons of stuff in a little place. There's lots of varieties of Central and South American beers, and some US and European ones too. Grocery items of questionable freshness, some produce. Odd botanical remedies from Latin America, candy, toys, phone cards, cigarettes. On most evenings, definitely on weekends, there are a bunch of guys hanging out drinking beer, and doing whatever else they might be doing at a somewhat sketchy bodega.

This stores is the worst in this neighborhood it should be shut down because the place is dirty,disgusting and food expired.the owner is always drunk and he lets. A lot of people stand inside the store and drink beer and liquor making it hard to enter or leave the store.he also sells beer after hours for a higher price and sells loose cigarettes for dollar a piece and six pack of Budweiser for eight dollars after hours and on holidays I don't know why police haven't shut this place down with all these violations and illegal selling of beer after hours and holidays where liquor isn't sold on and selling loose cigarettes for a dollar a piece there goes my property values.
