Brought my Honda Civic in to have a broke off piece of my oil dipstick removed from the tube. They claimed they had to remove/replace the oil pan and gasket to get it out. Total cost was $1,495 to get my broken oil stick out. I am NOT a mechanic but wanted to share this for those who are knowledgeable about cars in case I got ripped off.

I give one star because the rest of the work done but I had gone to Valvoline on 1/12/2024, —a year prior to taking my car to Firestone twice before 1/12/2024.— Meaning that in a year, I took my Equinox 2015 to Firestone twice. So, on 1/12/2024 a valvoline rep. was nice enough to show me the oil filter removed right in front of me and the filter was the one issued by Valvoline a year ago. They even showed me the serial number on the filter from the computer records showing the last time I took my can to Valvoline on 1/06/2023. Why if Firestone changed my oil twice, in 2023 my car still had a filthy, dirty, blacken, disgusting filter from valvoline from a year ago? I already filed a small claims complaint in court with pictures, and documents stating this issue, but here I am simply letting people know to be on point and don’t trust Firestone because they are NOT changing the oil filter as they are supposed. Good thing I went back to Valvoline on 1/12/2024. we work hard for our money for these companies to play us as suckers. This happened at the Firestone located in Stanford, CT.

Called in a day before for getting emission test and the guy at the front desk asked me to come in the next day between morning 8am -5pm to get the emissions done with 20 dollars cash. Next day I reached there are 745 am just to find out that they weren’t doing emissions until further notice. I wish people working at Firestone are not sleeping on their jobs and give the people the right info before they show up. I drove to Hank Mays not too far from Firestone to get the emissions done within 30 mins.

They are horrible at answering the phone where they instantly throw you on hold and then the customer has to listen to a bad quality worn out recording that drops out and in.

Rip off shit show. I brought the car with a one month old brake pads and rotors installed at a shop in PA, because of some noise when I step on the brakes at very low speed. After the 3 hours they called and said: - I don't know where is the noise coming from, but I suggest changing the front & rear brake pads and rotors. - But they are almost new! - Oh yes they probably are, but if the noise is when you press the brakes then that is what you need to do. - How much is that? - Around 1500. - So $1500 and I'll get rid of the noise. - No I don't guarantee that!

I came here to get my emissions testing done. Besides the fact that every time I have ever been in there the wait times are hours, the people working there don't seem to know what is going on. The first time I went there to get my emissions done, I showed up with my yellow notification card and I was told I need to come back within the 30 window that I was too early. Fine, I go back this morning and the same guy tells me the inspector is 45 minutes late then tells me he cant do it until after January 1, 2024. So twice I went and i get two different stories as to why it cannot be done. I wanted to get it done before the holidays. Low and behold, West High Service, who was super friendly took care of it under 20 minutes. No issues. Will not be returning to Firestone for any car needs.

I went in for flat tire repair and was told that I need new tire which was hard to believe as I had my car serviced a month back and dealership told the tires are fine. Finally I got the spare on and went to tire fair tire and got it repaired and I asked if I need to change the tires and they told my tire looks good and don't need to be changed.Reading other similar reviews I think this is a trick to get sell tires by Firestone

Jaime's way of speaking to me was disrespectful and condescending. I called him out on it and asked him to de- escalate and chill but he continued and obviously wanted the last word. I told him his customer service was horrible and that he was a fake and a liar then he threatened to call the police because I was having a conversation with him where he could not handle the criticism. I told him to take my car down of the lift and I then asked for a manager. He said he was the manager with a big grin on his face and I told him I wanted his boss and he said there was no one higher in authority in the building than himself, he told me to find the regional telephone number on line. Then he proceeded to call his boss from the back, Joshua who came out listened to me did not comment did not say one word and did not apologize did not inquire on how he could rectify the situation in order to keep my business. Not one word nor did I see him take any notes of my complaint of Jaime. He gave me his card and the regional telephone number and I left. BEWARE!!!!!I will be making a complaint to the regional office 816-492-2038

Been using service from here by years, got a bad experience today, yesterday sent in for tire repaired, told me need to change tire,I said OK what time pick up,been told 9am.Today morning I call the guy told me couldn't be done this time,I said I have been told pick up 9am,he keep saying that couldn't be done this time and doesn't know what time,I ask is him the guy told me to pickup at 9am?I need to go new york, how long can you find out?he keep repeating he can't get this car done and doesn't know what time,he sounds like he thinks this is good excuse to answer all my questions and he gets annoyed by my asking, without caring my worry, and doesn't feel sorry for delay their promise time,I am really mad his attitude and asking I don't want change tire now,I need take my car right away,he just hand off .I went to the store, knowing he is the manager Autin,I am business owner,I care my customers,I seem this thing is like betray your word, I totally understand sometime you couldn't be prepared on time, but you better care customers feeling, don't act like you have excuse, I don't care you are urgent or not.Normally don't leave comment, just talking about the fact, hope this local store doing better.

I went to Firestone for a flat tire repair. I was informed by the staff that the tire was not repairable and that I needed to buy two new tires(They recommended replace as a pair) because the tire was 50% used, which seemed implausible given all four tires are brand new recent purchase with less than 3 months. However, I took the same tire to Costco Tire Shop, and they were able to repair it within 30 minutes, contradicting the assessment given at Firestone store. This experience has led me to question the honesty and integrity of the advice provided by your staff. It is concerning that I was potentially misled about the condition of my tire and pressured into an unnecessary purchase.
