This was a terrible experience. We made an online reservation for 9.30am, we went where the office should have been but there were no one. So we called the number which was written on the door and they told us to go to another place. We went there and the Alamo’s employee made us wait for at least thirty minutes. When he showed up we thought that we finally made it (at 10.30am, an hour later) but when we had to pay he wouldn’t accept any cash (on the website and on the confirmation email it was written that we could!!!!). So at the end of the story we could not rent any car. This experience was a nightmare.

Fantastic rental service!! beautifully located close to train station. Good prices, wonderful customer service. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a rental car. Make sure you call and speak to John, he’s such a nice guy! Made me feel at ease when I was a bit overwhelmed. Car was reliable, clean and easy to get used to. 10/10!!!

Horrific treatment by their manager and staff. I highly recommend that you search elsewhere for your next car rental needs. The manager completely disregarded our prior reservation and left me and my two kids without a rental car the day of our trip because our flight was delayed. I encourage you to do business with an organization that is more responsive to their client’s travel needs and situations.

Brian the manager is a treasure and must be protected. He is relentlessly patient, flexible, accommodating and pleasant. I promise he’ll take amazing care of you even if you’re a squeaky wheel like me!! Thank you Brian!! The cars are great too!

didn’t specify how much the amounts were to renting the car or anything and when i confronted about it they told me they did and tried to argue with me. never again.

Mike or Mat, not sure his name because he answered the phone rudely and abruptly. He was extremely demeaning and rather than discussing the policy and information, he was rude and aggressive. This is not how people should be treating others, especially in a customer service position. There’s plenty of people looking for a job, he can be replaced.

Slowly becoming my Preferred rental car company. I ordered from them since I couldn't order from where I always do, and things got for the better. Easy to book clear with the pricing and let you know in advance how much you gonna pay. Returning the car is super fast and super easy which is a very important part when choosing where to get my rental car. They had the car I ordered ready for me and the whole process took no longer than 15 minutes. Did not planned, but planning to order from Alamo from now on.

When did Alamo became that good? I really was surprised. Alamo rent a ca simplify the process of renting a vehicle. They make things very easy and you come take the car and leave in less than 10 minutes! Sometimes you will have to wait for your car, but usually it is the vehicle is ready. Easy 5 stars.

Just had a great experience renting from Alamo in Stamford. The manager went above and beyond to get us a vehicle that we needed. He drove to another agency to pick it up. Alamo is always great, but the branch in Stamford, and the manager, Brian, make all the difference.

This review is for the Stamford CT Sheraton Alamo Rent A Car depot. I arrived a half hour early. There was no car available for my departure time. 15 minutes later I received a call from Angelo with good news. Car upgrade on a brand new Chevy Malibu. Pushed out on time. I don't own a domestic auto but this Malibu was a pleasant surprise. I was hitting 50MPG at times on a long haul road trip and averaged nearly 40mpg for the entire journey. Only filled up one time on a 1000 mile run. The Malibu reached nearly 600 miles on a full tank of gas. Very comfortable drive and enjoyed Carplay the entire trip. Navigation was a breeze. Kudos to Angelo for making this road trip a complete success.
