My cat, Slim had been going there since I adopted him. He used to have bad FELV flare ups and they would always get him in within maximum a few days. Slim loved the vet techs and the vet! The receptionists new my cat by name, and I really appreciated that. My partner and I really appreciated Grant's compassion and honesty when Slim passed. They let me stay there with Slim the day he was struggling, in his last moments, until they closed. It was a really difficult day, and knowing that the person taking my passed fur baby was going to care and treat him with respect made it a bit easier.”

I was happy with the care he received and was pleasantly surprised that I was not chastised for having my dog on an ECollar training program. It was nice to not feel judged for using it for a change! I was also very pleased with the information provided for the separation anxiety this breed often has and have now purchased some products that I can feel safe and confident using to that end. I have been very happy with the care we received for one of our cats and also for Ruckus. We look forward to bringing Puma in when she needs her next round of vaccinations.”

“I’m new to the area so finding a veterinarian for my cat was difficult. Yalesville Did great with my cat which is a big deal because my cat only knows me so she’s Not friendly at all. Yalesville had me give my cat gabapentin the night before and again 2 hours before her appointment to calm her down. This REALLY helped, my cat was way more relaxed and let the veterinarian do everything they needed to do during her checkup including her immunizations.”
“I have taken my dog Darla to Cheshire VCA since she was a puppy and I’m always grateful for the whole team there. All the vets and staff have always been nothing but friendly and accommodating. Over the years, my dog has had a few different things happen (I.e. she ate a bee and had an allergic reaction) and they always somehow squeeze her in to see her to help avoid the need to go to an emergency vet. They truly take such great care of their patients and their owners. Their prices are very fair and I’ve never had any hidden charges or felt like I was paying for anything unnecessarily. They give you options for care and help to explain things so well. My dog is very dog reactive and they’ve always happily helped bring her in, keep her calm and honestly she loves going in lol I think she knows “these are the people that help me always feel better!” lol the facility is also all updated/remodeled and always clean and welcoming.

“Our beloved 15.5 year old dog Penny was diagnosed with severe heart disease. After one week she deteriorated quickly, and needed euthanasia. My vet office was closed. We went to an emergency vet clinic, and we were told we needed to wait our turn to be seen. The wait was going to be minimum 2hours. Sitting in the car with Penny, as she struggled , my husband found DrRebhun online. We called and explained our situation, and he made arrangements to meet us at our home. He helped Penny pass on in the comfort of her home , instead of the stressful vet office. Penny was always so scared at the vet. We appreciate his compassion and the respect he showed us and Penny

“I’ve been taking my pets to VCA Old Canal for over 10 years, starting with my 2 senior cats, who were around 15 when I switched to the practice. VCA provided wonderful, compassionate care in their old age. They were truly understanding and respectful of my values around quality of life. After that, when I adopted my first dog and came to every visit with a ton of questions, they were patient and helpful. We quickly learned that my pup is extremely fearful of vet visits and needs medication for them. They’ve been great with her, working with me to figure out the best approach. The practice is well run and organized and many of the staff have been there the whole time I’ve been using them.”
