I'm a former employee and the store in Southington is infested with rats, but they don't tell that to no one. A very unethical place. Also when the pallets of frozen foods or ice cream comes to their warehouse, the wait most of the time to place it in the freezers causing the ice cream to melt and the food getting spoiled, and still they sell that to the public.

The best market for discounted grocery items. It changes weekly, so if you like something, grab it! It might not be stocked the next time you go back. Some items are close to expiring and need to be consumed within a few days, others, like juices, frozen goods, etc., might have damaged caps or boxes, but the food is still sealed and edible. All of the food I've seen has come from Costco, BJ's, Whole Foods, Big Y, Stop & Shop, and others, and there are many name brand items. I appreciate that there is a local place like this that sells these items instead of throwing them away. It is nice to know that they make an effort to try and re-sell the items that, in other cases, may go directly to a landfill. Check out their Facebook page where they post frequently of new items that hit the shelves.

I found out about this gem on one of my local fb pages. It's a small grocery store that sells grocery store overstocks and soon to be expiring items. The staff was very helpful in explaining where to find items and getting me setup on their loyalty program. I purchased oat milk yogurt, some frozen meals, sour cream, coffee drinks, Lilly chocolate bars, Panera soups and Honest Green Tea all for $44! Another patron told me it's hit or miss but this visit was a hit for me! They have a little bit of everything you'd find at other grocery stores but at better prices.

I don’t understand why they call themselves a discount store when I’ve found the same products in various supermarkets for a lower price. If the expiration dates are approaching, actually be cheaper.
