All questions have to go through the nightmarish customer service number. It is beyond frustrating to get the simplest questions answered. They have completely lost the local bank atmosphere.

Liberty Bank contacted ME (again they contacted ME) that there might be some fraudulent charges on our debit card. We checked and there were totaling about $160. One was for a raffle for cookware another from a gym membership and another for a VPN account. The next day we went to the bank and cancelled the card and got a replacement. They bank could not do anything with the transactions at the time because they were "Pending" We left the next day for vacation and returned a week later and went to the bank to fill out the fraudulent claim paperwork. Approximately 10 days later we received letters saying they were valid transactions. We then called Liberty and they said they would send us the docs involved in them calling valid transactions. Never got them. Called again and basically told them "why would come to bank the next day, cancel my card, get a new one, then the same day we get back from vacation go to the bank to fill out paperwork. For my health? So Liberty Bank is relying on some fraudulent data they got instead of an life long customer. Unfortunately Liberty is the only bank in my town and if there was one called Joe's Bank or Not safe Bank I would pull my accounts in a minute. All the good this bank fid for me over the past 50 years went away when they believe some fraudulent person and not a life long customer. Stay Away if you want to keep your money safe.

Really awful to be honest. They switched to an app which keeps locking me out. They tell you to call and can never get anyone on the phone. I miss Simsbury Bank. I think its time to change banks

I came to the Simsbury branch of Liberty Bank with various questions about opening the account I needed, which I found difficult to resolve. But the banker Dina Karpukov explained to me very clearly what I needed to do and then very patiently helped me through all the stages of preparing the necessary information. As a result, I got the account I needed. Thank you very much! Well done!

This is a great bank that offers fantastic benefits with there various accounts available. The Simsbury branch in particular is great! Everyone is always upbeat, very helpful and super nice. Everything that you'd expect from a local bank.

I was previously a Simsbury Bank customer, and although I miss the folks there dearly, I can't fault those that work there now for being there after the change. I've gone in there a few times for help, and each time they were very helpful. I've had to activate a card, reset a PIN, link various accounts, and even take a personal loan (they had an amazing offer to help folks through the beginning of the pandemic). Today I called them for an issue with an account. It was a problem on my side, not theirs, as I had linked the wrong Liberty account with an external account. Andrea helped me resolve it quickly and graciously. As a person working in customer service myself, I was impressed with her attitude, empathy, and willingness to work with the customer.

This place was so much better when it was Simsbury Bank. They at least cared about their community! Liberty is such a petty bank. $2.00 for a paper statement! GTFO! Stay away from these greed mongers.

Horrible Bank. No one answers phone, auto response says leave your name and number and we will get back back to you.to you. They never did. Simsbury Bank was wonderful, this bank is a nightmare.

I was a Simsbury Bank Customer for over 20 years and I have never in those years been let down or mis treated by anyone in the Simsbury Granby or Avon branches. But now that it’s liberty Bank there quality has tanked. There phones haven’t been working for over two months it takes over 45 minutes to get a Human being on the phone and I have had horrible experiences with liberty thus far. I would not recommend this bank to anyone. Closing my accounts and moving banks. It’s a shame because Simsbury was a great bank with great people and now I never want to deal with them ever again. Good luck with the take over Liberty I’m sure I’m not the only person leaving.

Very disappointed when, as a visitor to this city, I went into this bank to change a $100 bill with my granddaughter who has a savings account at your establishment. First, we waited while two tellers finished their private conversation and discovered there was someone waiting. Then, when the teller who waited on us couldn’t find, nor did she really attempt to find my granddaughter’s account, she said she couldn’t break the bill. Could it have been because she sucked her teeth through the whole encounter.
