Green Light Auto was a great place to get a car but they ruined my day. I live in PA (200+ miles away). They knew I was buying the car on Thursday and arriving around 1:30pm via bus on Monday then driving straight to Atlantic City (200+ miles away).
I bought a fully electric Ioniq (170 mile range) and when I got there it had 30% charge. They said a storm had killed the power the previous night but even if the power was working, it wouldn't have been long enough to charge the car to 100% anyway. Their generic Level 2 adapters didn't work on my car and they needed to plug it into a normal outlet (36 hrs to full).
I sat in the office for 3 hours to charge my car to 70% (I had brought my own Lectron adapter). 70% got me to my halfway point, a mall, I was supposed to shop at while charging but was now closed. I sat alone in a parking lot late at night for hours while strange people walked by. Not fun at all. It was past midnight by the time I got to AC. I missed out on my friends birthday dinner, a night in AC, and was totally exhausted. What a ruined day.
On the bright side, Carlos and Kaylie were very nice. They let me take a superbly nice Audi to eat some food next door. They let me use one of the employees desks while I waited in the lobby. One of the tech guys taught me a lot about different possible home setups. Overall very nice people who seem honest and I would totally go back again.

NOT A BUSINESS TO TRUST, Did not have a good experience. My husband and I saw this car we really wanted. He called and spoke to the receptionist, my husband asked her if we could go look at it and if anyone had reserved it. She puts him on hold to find out then says, Noone has and that we could go see it. My husband lets her know that we are an hour and a half and we were heading there as soon as we hung up. As we are driving already an hour. He then gets a call from the receptionist to tell us that someone just bought it. That was wrong knowing we were on hour way with a down deposit.

Purchased a vehicle and within two days every dash light came on including the engine light. Called to address the issue, manager Carlos then told me they didn’t offer loaners and there was nothing they could do. Conveniently I got a call the next morning bright and early stating to bring my vehicle in and they will give me a loaner. Brought the vehicle in, they called not long after saying it was the spark plugs. I come back get the vehicle, next morning I get in start it same thing, every dash light. I call again, they say bring it in. During this process I notice the car needed an alignment. After bringing in the vehicle now the second time, they stated it was the coil packs 1 & 2. I say ok, it also needs an alignment. They call telling me the work is done, I come back to get the vehicle take off noticing alignment wasn’t done (though they said it was), get home, and again the next day all dash lights come on I figured I’d check to see if they did do the work they said they did, they replaced the wrong coils (replaced 4 and 3, instead of one and two as they stated). I call again, they say bring it in. I drop it off yet again, at this point they have it over the weekend, I get a call stating it was the fuel injectors. They admitted to trying to replace just the one faulty one, but Honda only sold all 4. I say ok no big deal, I go pickup the vehicle. At this point I take it directly home to check it over considering the past experience's. Not only was there bolts missing from the injectors, but they did not do the alignment they said they did. After contacting they agreed to pay for an alignment, took the vehicle for said alignment (which they did, and also recommended to replace two front struts but Green Light didn’t think so) and the Manager Carlos gave the shop a hard time about the price and had them reduce it. I understand every company has a bottom line, but this is outrageous and obviously has an impact on the vehicles they are selling. They sold me a vehicle that supposedly “passed emissions” but yet an engine light appeared In less than 300 miles of purchasing the vehicle. On top of that, I am also having to pay $300 for a detail because the vehicle they sold me REAKS like cigarettes (along with tons of scratches) and they refused to clean it. I have had better luck buying vehicles from Carvana than I did this place. Heck, you’re better off getting a vehicle at A BETTER WAY WHOLESALE. New management is a must at this place for it to turn around. I can only hope that people read all the reviews and comments before purchasing a vehicle here. All that being said, I found a 2019 Honda Accord LX (1 year newer and had 10,000 less miles on it) up the road at J & M Auto for $6,000 less… if this experience doesn’t tell you something I’m not quite sure what will.
Reply to comment: Why would I reach out to the very person that screwed me over..

The sales person asked that I write a review, so here it is!
There is a reason that the skeleton and coffee machine have been named "Employee of the Month" for so many months. While my buying experience was FINE, that's as far as I would go. The salesman did nothing to actually SELL me the car. The whole experience seemed rushed and cold. No one showed me any of the car's features. I was expected to figure it all out on my own. While they were very accommodating with the requests I made before purchasing the car (fixing the cracked windshield, changing the oil, fixing an issue with the interior upholstery, etc.) there was very little salesmanship involved. The car sold itself.
All in all, they have a great inventory, an excellent selection of coffee, a quirky waiting room and a mediocre sales strategy.

I went to Green Light Auto back in August-September 2021 looking to trade my 2018 Acura ILX ASPEC in due to it being too sporty for me. The reason I’ll never go back nor refer anyone to Green Light Auto? The woman that was assigned to work with me told me I couldn’t test drive more than 1 vehicle because, “you can’t just come here and drive cars for fun.”, is what she said. Therefore, I brought my business elsewhere and now drive an SUV because that dealership allowed me to test drive more than 1 car.

Definitely recommend Green Light Auto. This was the easiest and quickest purchase of a car ever. Both Kylie and Carlos were extremely helpful and easy to deal with. No pressure to buy but super efficient doing the deal and having all the paperwork ready. Would definitely go back to purchase a car in the future. Thanks Carlos and team. ! Anne and Edward

They didn't ask us to do this review but when you receive good service and quality of what you buy, you are happy to do it! Carlos and all the staff, including the workshop staff, are responsible people who are always willing to solve you. We bought a used Audi Q5 here and it was the best dealer we could choose. Honestly, when we are going to buy another car, gree light auto sales will be our option.

Best and easiest experience ever buying a used car! Carlos was great! We called ahead to see if the car was still available and he had it up front waiting for us. Carlos never pressured us and told us to take our time. He answered all of our questions and the paperwork was easy. If and when we need another vehicle this will be our first stop!

FANTASTIC!!! I found a vehicle that I was really interested in and drove 45 minutes to see it. It only had 35,000 miles on it and was priced $1,845 UNDER value! Carlos did a great job of finding very reasonable financing for me and made the whole process simple and comfortable. He also threw in a free 1,500 mile warranty that was not mandated by DMV because it was one year too old for the mandate. Since the van had just arrived on their lot and they hadn't quite finished the safety check, he said I could come back the next day for it. When I told him I REALLY wanted to drive it home today, he put a mechanic on it and they did brakes and a front end alignment while I waited. This was by far the BEST car buying experience I've ever had!!
