“I don't think that I've ever reviewed a "package" store before but this place is so much more! I had heard about it for awhile so I popped in when I was in Morris and was glad that I did!The Wise Old Dog is the Rolls Royce of all packies! Everything was impressive from the decor and layout of the building to the amazing variety of liquors. You want a Coors Light? They got you covered. What about a nice cab? Done. You also want a $300 bottle of Scotch brewed from the tears of the Loch Ness Monster herself? No problem.They had a complimentary wine tasting going on when I was there as well! What a great business to have in Morris!”
“Stopped here on the way to a friend's house to purchase a bottle of red wine for her mother's birthday. I have no clue about wine at all. I asked the man at the counter what he'd recommend as far as red wines, he went out of his way to show us a great all round red wine and explained to us why it was special compared to other wines ect. Very professional and welcoming I was really impressed, and she loved the wine. If i didn't live in Florida I'd be a regular here. I'm so happy I stopped here and would absolutely recommend this store to anyone!”

“I call Charles and Jamie, THE BOYS, as they are the BEST. As someone else mentioned, they are high on class and low on pretention. They offer the best customer service whether you are a cheapskate like me with amazing bottles rec's that keep you on your toes or if you want something cool, they have that too. Love them and go out of my way to spend my money here, get some puppy pats and some delightful conversation :)”

“Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and always ask if they can help with anything. The store is always organized and very clean and welcoming they have a good variety and lots of different flavors and different kinds drinks as well. I love fruity drinks and they always have different varieties from vodka to cider or seasonal selections. Also if you want something they don’t have they are more then happy to place a special order for you. Also have pretty flexible hours which is convenient. Best package store around and my go to store for parties as well as personal selections.”

“I had honestly expected so little from the Morris Spirit Shop - maybe beer and whatever their regular customers drink. But no, it's got a great selection, especially for its physical footprint! Outside the bushes are well maintained, and there are even places to sit on the front porch. Parking has a frequent turnover , but there's a lot of room in the front lot to maneuver.Inside, it's bright and cheerful, with lots of varieties for wine, beer, and liquor. The cashier (who may have been the proprietor) was friendly and happy to help with finding a certain something or a similar alternative in stock. I went in with the expectation "I'll know what I want when I see it", which he respected, but also I found a great wine for a gift and a bunch of little nip bottles to try out! Prices were very reasonable as well.”
“This is an excellent liquor store, they have a very good selection. The staff is also really great. I've gotten to know them pretty decent over the past few years. it's a nice little liquor store to just pop into if you need something. The prices are also very reasonable for the area.”
“The Bethlehem Spirit Shop is the personification (building-fication?) of a small town liquor store. They have all the big names, several bottle sizes for liquor, cooler for beer, and rows of different wines. The clerk was eager to offer their assistance to help me find what I was looking for, even noting if I was getting something for a local they might be able to make personal recommendations. It was fantastic service, although I wasn't as helpful as a customer! (I knew what I was looking for only when I saw it.) Parking is a little tight, but it's an easy in and out onto the road.”
“Stews wine in Danbury is my favorite store to visit. The store has all my favorite drinks available and is a friendly environment when you enter. The store is well kept, and the staff is very friendly! The manager Jeff is very helpful and professional. I have nothing but great experience in this location! “A little pricey but not bad for the location. Very accommodating and open to new products. Disappointed that I had to step around the two ginormous dogs laying on the floor in the middle of the store. Not being a fan of dogs I find it rather presumptuous and have no desire to return.”
“I hadn't been here in a few months, and I really liked the service where there was always an offer to help get something for you. That was good because it always felt cramped in this little place. I just stopped in and, wow, major upgrades. The small addition to the side of the building and redesign of layout have created a very nice looking shop.”
“They had a half bottle of Sancerre! It was perfect to enjoy on a beautiful day in the park. Wolfgang was even nice enough to find me everything I needed to enjoy a glass with my wife before picking my son up from school. I also found their prices to be extremely fair. “My first time there. I was looking for a specific wine. The man at the counter was so kind as to take me to the area I needed to be and pointed out the wine brands he had. Then he also suggested the one he thought was a nice wine. Very nice! Very helpful! Good selection!”
“Needed to have a gift sent and delivered- Gary and Betty were amazing in helping me make this happen! Gary spoke with me about the bottles selection which assisted in me picking out the perfect gift. The experience reminded me of how small town businesses were when I was younger. Totally recommend Lake wine and liquor. Should I be in town, I ll definitely stop in! 5 stars! PS. Gift was a true success too!”
“Manthan (owner) is always smiling and very attentive to customer's needs. If a product isn't in stock, he makes sure to order it specifically to satisfy customer requests. It's always a pleasant experience as he makes his clientele feel more like friends than just customers. He goes above and beyond, is always polite. Make Shirley's your go to for your spirit needs.”
“I knocked off one star due to the difficulty in finding your store. Your street sign needs to stand out more. Colors are dark without any contrast. It took two phone calls and even saying TD bank, it wasn't easy. Please change out your signage.
BTW....the girl with the blue NY Giants hat was very helpful.

“Best selection of bourbon with special “store picks” I haven’t seen anywhere else. Very helpful staff offered me a tasting even tho pretty early in the day (5 o’clock somewhere!)& bought one of them. Wandered up & down Rte 7 for miles in each direction & this best I saw. Didn’t check out wine selections but looked promising.”
“A friend of mine said he couldn’t find a very specific beer. After checking with two Local business, third time was a charm. The first two said they have never heard of it. The clerk at the front knew exactly what I was talking about, but unfortunately was out of stock. He called the bigger store and they also were out of stock. Like everything else, there is apparently shortages with certain beer. He took my name down and said he will call me as soon as it’s available. Said he will also contact their sales rep and see if they could speed it up a bit. Great customer service, very friendly, plenty of parking spots in the front. I have bought from here before and the prices are great. Very convenient if you live off Route 202 or 67 in New Milford.”
