When your cat is healthy and you go for annual check ups no problem with this vet. There are vets that get it and vets that don't. This is a don't clinic. I understand they make more money off of sick cats but that shouldn't be the focus. As a vet it should be the animals quality of life. Last week I knew my girl's time had come and called for assistance. I was told "we don't make euthanasia appointments" and "since we haven't seen her in a while we'd need to do a full evaluation". That was on a Monday and was told they have no appointments till Thursday. I even asked if I could drop her off before work so they could examine her at their convenience. Nope! So I loved on her Monday night but Tuesday night was just awful. It was an absolute torture for her and I. She had kidney disease and I know the progression as I had another cat years ago with it. Constantly in and out of the litter box her trying to have her dignity and me trying to comfort her. When you know it's your pets time you just know. I went to work Wednesday sleep deprived and just broke down. I called an old vet I used in the past and they made time that day. I was greeted with so much compassion and kindness it made the whole awful experience a bit easier. I wasn't charged an examination fee let alone put my poor girl through one. I'm a firm believer in that this is the one gift we can give our beloved animals. A dignified and as pain free end of life as possible. In all the emotions and sleep deprivation I forgot to cancel her Thursday appointment. I get a call 15 minutes after her appointment was and apologized not canceling. Did I get an I'm sorry for your loss ?? Sorry we didn't have time for you?? Nope again!!! I get a "I'll make a note on that". I've made a note of that too! Just a horrendous way to handle clients. My old vet is my new vet!!! I hate posting reviews like this but if this helps one pet parent it's worth it.

On Christmas day my cat passed away. Not even being my normal vet, she was there for us. She was in the office for a different patient and when I called, they not only answered but helped us. She never rushed me. I was able to take my time and say goodbye to my sweet kitty. I will be forever grateful to them. She owed us nothing, he wasn't her patient but still, on Christmas day showed me care and compassion. I am forever grateful. They are wonderful.

Gave my cat medication that made her vomit. Called the office to seek help, was told ok we'll call you back and mark it "urgent" for the doctor. Never heard back. Not negotiable to do that to a cat owner; bad professionalism.

Very caring and detail oriented. They were sympathetic to the boundaries of our calico and her feistiness, so they didn't push her beyond her limits. So appreciative of the care provided.

This place just wants your money. They do not care what happens to your cat. They always say they are 3 weeks booked our and every appt of your cat isn't feeling well requires an overnight stay or a full day stay. How do they sleep at night?! Go anywhere but here.

Dr Dupont and crew have kept are fur babies healthy. We have gone through many emergency situations with my daughters cat (DeeDee and they have been there for us. Highly recommend them .
