Bought my first conceal carry here and I had a great experience. Staff took the time to educate me and answer all of my questions. The process was smooth and enjoyable. Since then I have bought multiple other firearms from them and have had an excellent experience each and every time. One firearm had a minor issue which they addressed promptly and on the spot after walking in. My family members have bought here with no issues and I will continue to recommend Central Connecticut Arms to all my friends/family. Thank you!

If you’re looking for a new or used firearm buy it from these fine people. Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Had a minor issue with my Glock 43x, brought in for them to look at and they fixed it on the spot. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else.

Got my pistol permit certificate here in may. The owner made it an easy to understand process. the store has an excellent variety of firearms for a store in connecticut. Prices are also fair I hope to buy my first pistol from them.

Took my basic pistol course and Robert was friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to take your courses. He also printed notarized the application which was very helpful. The staff in the store is also very welcoming and helpful. Plenty of parking and offer a military discount. I would definitely recommend them.

Admittedly it’s been too long since I’ve had the time or the means to head out to the shop, and even though it’s probably a 45 minute drive or so, I consider Rob and crew to be my local go to shop for anything firearm related. It is worth it, every single time! Inventory is second to none, hospitality is top notch and the deals never end! Keep up the great work guys! You can’t go wrong with Central Connecticut Arms!

Took my CCW class with Rob and he was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Went back to buy my first pistol and he was able to get me exactly what I wanted and was extremely helpful in helping me decide. The team there is extremely knowledgeable and has an incredible selection to look at. I would highly recommend them to any person looking to purchase a firearm or to take any of their classes.

Ive bought five firearms at CCA over the last two years and been there without buying anything they give the same level of service. Everyone there takes their time with you, shows you what you ask to see, always pleasant and professional. A great place to go and is always fully stocked.

Brought gun in for a barrel swap. Took way longer than it should've (15 days to order a gas block and tube and do the work, I ordered the same parts and received them in 4 days), and when I got the gun back, the vertical grip was missing, the handguard is loose and looks like the fastener holes could be stripped. I emailed him after I got home about how I was unhappy with the whole process, and instead of taking responsibility he wanted to blame it on me by making the excuse that customer supplied parts take longer instead of just saying that they dropped the ball ordering the parts. Had to reach out to get a status update 10 days in, and never got a phone call that it was finished, even though Rob said he tried calling. I actually showed up to just pick the upper expecting it not to be completed, hence why I ordered my own parts, and now wish he never touched it. Not sure what happened, but this is not ok. Rob even mentioned that it was loose, so why wasn't this addressed before pick up? I now have to take it somewhere else to make sure that I don't need a new handguard. Gun was perfect when I dropped off and now I'm nervous to shoot it. I brought it to an "expert" so I didn't have to worry about it, and now I'm worse off. I'm a veteran and couldn't go shooting because Rob had my gun over the holiday. My friend at work warned me not to go here because he had an issue with work also. Somehow parts got into the buffer tube while Rob had it. If my friend didn't notice this, the barrel would've blown up in his wife's face. Never again at this place.

Our 1st time here. As new permit holders, we stopped in on Sunday 6/25/23 about a half hour before the store closed to check it out. The staff took their time with us even though it was close to quitting time, especially with my wife on her 1st potential handgun purchase. We (she) was shown a bunch of different guns and asked some questions and got good, solid answers. We did not make a purchase due to timing, but we will definitely be back (I want to get a rifle and have questions) It's nice to see great service. We didn't feel like just a number and weren't rushed due to being close to locking up for the night.We have since returned a couple of times and made a few purchases. Can't go wrong with Central Connecticut Arms.

First time purchasing any fire arm as a new CCL within the state of Connecticut. I called around the area to confirm what store had the firearms I was interested in and Central CT Arms had both.The owner Robert as well as Frank were there in-store yesterday to help assist me every step of the way. The prior night I had phoned in and reached Michelle who was also very helpful and polite which helped me decide to support the store over others in the greater Hartford area. They actually were kind enough to offer a preowned version of one of the models I was looking at (both brand new and used were available), saving me a couple of hundred dollars…. Certainly something Robert did not have to do as a business person but 100% helps secure a return customer.I did not feel out of place or judged due to my lack of lingo/paperwork/product knowledge. Superb service and a much wider selection than I have seen at some other locations prior to deciding on the two I wanted.Just took both to the range today and wow! The S&W 340PD as well as the HK VP9SK not only carry and conceal rather easily but fire with minimal recoil and high amounts of accuracy.A note to Robert and Frank; this review is a accurate review however an incognito name (Nice meeting the both of you and I think you can figure out who this is by my purchase). I couldn’t go without leaving you guys a five star review but did not want to expose my actual identity among public Google viewing.See you again soon!

An excellent shop with great inventory and fantastic customer service. I don't get to visit as often as I used to, but anytime I'm in the area I make a point to stop in and see Rob. I believe that the quality of a gun store is measured taking into consideration 2 things: 1) Product for sake/services and 2) customer service. Many gun stores suffer from cocky, condescending employees/Rambo types. I find that this gun store provides many services (not only sell firearms) and has a large quantity of products and services for us, the clients. I live in Glastonbury and there are 3 big "gun stores" I frequent. This one has become my favorite one because the employees are genuinely friendly & knowledgeable. And then there's the guns...!!
