Staff was ok i guess, the other guest lòok at you like you don't belong if your skin color isn't white. The rooms are honestly a bit outdated for the price, the breakfast was decent. Overall I feel 180 bucks is too much. I wouldn't stay here again...

HORRIBLE place. Room smelled like pot during the night, in the morning neighbors had an alarm on for 1/2 hr and when i went for breakfast at 9 and asked for bananas or yogurt, i got yelled at and told to get up earlier by the attendant lady. Worse hotel i have ever stayed at and i travel couple times a month.Food & drinks: None

Recommend staying here: YesRoom *****Location *****Staff *Pros: Comfortable everything and good breakfastCons: Door open button on elevator broken, treadmill in the exercise room made a loud squealing noise at any normal jogging speed, some (not all) front desk staff were unfriendlySafety: Door open button in elevator did not work.

We've stayed here several times, but are UNLIKELY to do so again. The room floor had several areas of a white powder-like substance that disappeared with walking on it... which leads me to believe it was NOT cleaned, or at least not cleaned well. The ice bucket contained something Red on the inside bottom. The ice bucket cover was greasy and rancid smelling. The safe was inoperable, perhaps because the batteries were dead. However, they were dead when the staff "cleaned" the room because it swung open the moment the closet door was opened. The breakfast is barely adequate. I know it is included (nothing is free), but pre-packaged food is unnecessary. The toaster didn't work, and there's no way to cut a bagel. The entire operation has gone downhill. This is by no means an inexpensive location. LOTS of other hotels in the area to choose from. Oh yeah, the good restaurant that was on site has closed permanently.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites in the town of Plainville is one of the most unique properties we've ever experienced. We're travel writers and don't often post reviews of the places we stay on the road. But, we need to give this property and its staff a special shout out for many reasons.The property's wonderful director of sales Anna Leonard arranged a spacious suite for us, which was perfect for doing our work (think bedroom/Iiving room/office). Thank you Anna!The hotel boasts an attractive lobby and cozy breakfast area. While it isn't a newer property, it is the BEST maintained we've ever seen (note: we understand a major reno may be on its way).The front desk, breakfast crew and maintenance staff were always warm and welcoming (they made us almost feel like family). And to top it all off, the hotel served the host for the famous Oscar Mayer Weinermobile. Hey, if it was good enough for Oscar, it was definitely good enough for us.A side note: The hotel is located in a quiet spot, but just a short distance from the highway. There are a ton of dining options nearby, along with a Starbucks and a supermarket.

Great staff great trip! We we brought our football team here for two different road trips and the rooms were great and we could fee a whole football team breakfast!!! We will be back!

Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was typical for a hotel. Pool was closed so can't rate that. It looks like they used to have a hot tub but was filled in. The location was great, very close to several restaurants and shopping centers. Close to the highways.

What wonderful stay we had here. The suite was so nice, complimentary breakfast, perfect with a great variety every day. The pool is nice, exercise equipment, lots of activities!
