We needed dog walking help... and they were professional and showed up on time. Friendly staff who handled our weird room locks, great service, flexible with our crazy schedules and dependable!!!! We will use again for our cat!!!!!

Barks and Rec is amazing! They’ve been available to care for our cat at a moment’s notice, even during the holidays, and have been so thorough and warm with their updates while we are away. They really go above and beyond - taking in a package that was sitting out on the stoop, alerting us that the smoke detector was beeping, sending a card on our cat’s birthday :) I trust Elizabeth and the team at Barks and Rec to give the best care, and always return to a very happy kitty!

Barks and Recreation is extremely professional, responsive, and dependable. 100% of the time they send pictures of my pets and a very thorough report. More times than not they’re going above and beyond, bringing in mail or packages, notifying us of a beeping appliance, etc. They’re nothing be a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend.

Having a senior doggo that needs extra love and care I was hesitant that I’d ever find a service that offered what I expected for my dog. BUT I’ve been very impressed and beyond pleased! I highly recommend barks and rec!

When a recent trip was delayed a bit, I needed a pet sitting service for the first time, and saw friends who recommended Barks and Rec. What a great experience that gave me such peace of mind while away! Highly recommend and will be using for future trips. Great communication, updates and loved the daily photos of Bean in good hands.

Elizabeth and staff at Barks and Recreation were excellent caregivers to our pets while we were away for 5 days. They accommodated an extra visit to “tuck” in our conure each night. Each visit was documented with photos and sent to us. We are so happy to have found Barks and Rec. and will definitely request services in the future.

My wife and I are extremely happy that we came across Barks and Recreation. Elizabeth and her team are the perfect picture of professionalism and reliability. Our dog Rocky absolutely loves when a team member comes to visit and we love getting the photo updates. Always gives us a smile! We never hesitate to mention Barks and Rec whenever someone we know is looking for pet care.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Elizabeth and her team at Barks and Recreation! I was insanely nervous about leaving my two dogs (one who is incredibly weary of strangers), and flock of chickens/ducks to go on vacation... but Barks and Recreation eased my fears by the end of the first day. Barks provide a little write up + photo updates multiple times a day, make sure the house is secure upon leaving, clean up any mess my dogs made while they were away (one dog has a habit of shredding tissues + her toys), brought in packages upon delivery, made sure they were physically + mentally tired from multiple adventures, and most of all - my animals were so happy/loved. I swear my dogs were waiting for their "friends" to come back multiple times a day to visit after we return. We 100% plan to use Barks and Recreation in the future.

We hired Barks and Recreation to walk my moms dog. He can be a little timid and not always willingly to go for a walk. They worked with him and and we’re very patient. Now he can’t wait to go for a walk when they show up. They are fantastic!
