We got our new dryer, and it was at a better price than other appliance stores.

Thanks guys! Ordered on line for pick-up, order confirmed. Drove all the way there, customer service person very rude, "order isn't ready yet! Stand aside" I said I'm in a hurry, can I just go and get the item? Roll of eyes. She said she'd call someone to get it. Wait. Wait. Wait. I said is it coming soon bc I can just go back and get it? She says, look! It's coming! We're not robots ok? So, I wait, wait, wait. Finally I was able to talk to someone else. He said he would go get it, so I kept waiting at customer service. Some other guy calls me and I'm standing right next to him to tell me, oh, it's out of stock. Drove to Lowes, in and out in 2 minutes with item.

I like my local Home Depot, for me the perfect place to find anything your home needs.

The Pro Services aisles are rarely ever actually open for availability, and are rarely available for checkout. The people stand there and use their office phones all day.

I purchased a GE dishwasher from my local homedepot. When I went to install it a few days later I noticed water dripping from inside the box. I opened the box and saw that the bag with the hose and instruction manual was ripped and the filter location was full of water. The dishwasher had a very foul smell. When I called homedepot they told me they only accept returns within 48 hours after purchase. They scheduled for a GE tch to come to my home to look at the dishwasher and I waited all day for no one to show. So Homedepot basically sold me a used dishwasher as new and GE has terrible customer service not even coming out to the scheduled appointment. I will never buy an appliance from HD again and def will not be purchasing a GE product! Go to your local PC richards. Better customer service and their people service their products.

Great store and staff in Norwalk, CT. I bought a couple of window blinds and a utility sink drain accessory by OX.

There seemed to be a limited number of people willing to help in locating an item. When they did help, you had to understand their grumpy attitude or risk them sending you on a wild goose chase. Perhaps not a good day for everyone.

So, I've never had an issue with Home Depot...I actually used to love going to Home Depot-until recently-what's up with the poor attitude in customer service at Home Depot this summer? Have literally lost hours and money all summer long and it got way worse this weekend. Spoke with Mike from Tool Rental, Jerricho, NY on the phone Sat morning who jumped down my throat from the other side of the phone and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. When I told him I'd like a chance to speak and that I had to get off the phone soon because I wasn't feeling well and had to get to the Dr.s Appt. he kept right on yelling at me even louder "telling me, he was going to tell me how things are done around here," as if women had lost their right to vote or something and I didn't know it. In Norwalk tonight, desperate for an air filter for my new used air purifier, I had tried several times this past summer with the men of Home Depot asking for help and got no where, so did my own research. Came across Jake in the air filter aisle whom I was referred to by a very sincere nice and helpful employee, who actually walked me over to Jakes aisle and later followed up. I mean, he was really wonderful and above and beyond. A real genuine person and you can tell a good employee wherever he chooses to be employed. However, Jake, wow, what the heck, he did not want to help me from the start. He trurned his back to me and stiffened right up when I said excuse me. You know what, my bad, I shoulda ended it right there, I should have known better. I was desperate and He was delighted to nail my ass to the wall any time I tried to get a word out. As I stood there with a bandage from a recent blood draw and hospital wristband, he dissected me word by word, letter by letter, arguing in a monologue of some sort, instead of just trying to help me. After he insisted there was nothing available that I was looking for, I agreed with him and said well then he must be done with me. When he ran away to go tattletale on me for god only knows what for, I looked on the several rows of filters he said didn't exist and found exactly what I was looking for. Why do I feel like if it were another baby boomer male customer, Mike in Jericho and Jake in Norwalk would've never have treated their male customers that way? I really can't picture Mike in Tool rental in NY yelling in an accusatory, abusive manner at another baby boomer guy, "I am going to tell you the way things are done around here." Not at all, it was much more fitting for the likes of Mike and Jake to take out their frustrations on any nonsmoking minding their own business female born in the 60s and on that dares to walk or call upon their Home Depot territory. I ended up not being able to buy it after all because Home Depot doesn't take Apple Pay and the store was closing. The manager was really nice tho, he asked me what happened and said he was sorry that all happened and I couldn't buy the things I came there for.

Might as well close this store. I was there Friday night. Not one employee was willing to help find merchandise that clearly showed in stock on their website. Problem is the employees don't care about the customers, only themselves. The shelves were badly in need of straightening out and being restocked from the higher up shelves that you cannot reach. I asked an employee to get someone to help locate what I was looking for. The employee refused to help or find another employee to help. The unhelpful employee also said the inventory system is worthless and never correct, cop out because they are lazy and don't want to look. I laid into the guy before leaving. Went right to the Stamford store and I guess a miracle occurred, because their inventory system was spot on, and the shelves were fully stocked and presentable. I spent over $700 that the Norwalk store would have put into their books if just one out of the 15 employees there would have actually cared about their job. Norwalk store is a disgrace and I guess I will never be going back there. Shut it down!

Consistently disappointed. Waited 20 minutes by the paint counter, asked 5 employees and even called front desk before being helped. I literally shouted at the top of my lungs for help and nobody came. Astoundingly bad customer service. As I write this I’m waiting over half an hour for help with garage door parts. Inventory on the shelf is a total mess. Website and customer service show 38 parts in stock. Zero on the shelf. Nobody can find the others. Waste of time and gas to come here.PS: after spending 40 minutes to the store and no one could help me, I drove to a Lowe’s down the street and bought what I needed in five minutes. Lesson learned.

I visited the store in Norwalk CT today at 6:30 PM.I needed the help in plumbing department so I was talking to at least to 5-6 associates who stated they are not working for this department but would find someone to help me out.Spend about 30-40 minutes but no one showed up.Asked over and over the same and different associates but it was obvious they just didn't care, I asked for manager and got response -no managers in the store. Most of departments also didn't have anyone to help so wondering how the store is going to survive. I personally next time will go to Lowes or another store..
