I drive an older car that frankly isn't worth very much but Glen is committed to doing the best he can to keep it on the road without breaking the bank. He's honest and extremely knowledgeable. My car has had symptoms of a blown head gasket which is why I brought it in. He spent the time to check every possible scenario before coming to the dreaded conclusion that it was indeed blown. He gave me an honest and fair cost estimate for the repair with a range of incidentals that may arise during the repair. “I stopped here at this Exxon station to fill up my vehicle today. It appears it was once a Getty. They do mechanical services and repairs too, however, this review is strictly in regards to the gas station, not the repair facility. Getting in and out wasn't too bad, even though the area can be a little busy at times. The price per gallon of gasoline is a little bit on the high side. The other disappointment was when the pump asked if I wanted a receipt and I said "Yes", only to have the pump say the "Clerk has receipt". This is inconvenient and I have neither the time nor the desire to go inside. Not having to go inside is the main reason why I pay at the pump to begin with.On another positive note, there was hand sanitizer at the pumps, which is nice...Overall, not a bad place to stop for fuel, but could be better...”

“Typically stop by every couple of months or so for the past few years as it's got a convenient location and I try to squeeze in a walk-in oil change with their fantastic oil change pricing. Today I had a quart of oil I needed help with putting in and checking my brake fluid. The cashier was professional and welcoming and made me feel assured it was okay to ask for help. The mechanic on duty, was so very nice and courteous to help me right away. I apologetically explained I had mistakenly bought a 10-30 from a store instead of a 5-30. He quickly explained the difference and spoke to me as an equal and was just so genuinely nice and professional about it. Thank you West Rocks Shell! I am grateful for your help! Thank you for being good people!”

“Incredibly satisfied with the service by Fernando. He allowed me to bring my own spark plugs and air filter from Autozone. He replaced them in 1hr just charging me for labor ($70). I am incredibly satisfied due to this low price, i swear i checked 3 other car shops in Norwalk and they wanted to charge me $180-250-300 for something this simple. So glad CT Ave Service Station did not want to rip me off like the rest.”
