Wonderful shopping experience! Ruth was welcoming and accommodating and encouraged shoppers to feel at home in the space. The items were well-organized and thoughtfully arranged; it was very easy to find sizes. I will definitely be returning with my daughter; this shop has officially been added to our list of consignment favorites!

My new favorite place to shop! I found this place online and I am so glad that I did! I love that this gem is a family business: daughter working with her mom AND her mother in law. All three women are so helpful and down to earth. The clothing selection here is by far the best selection I have ever seen at a second hand store. The clothes are clean, smell good and they even steam them before hanging them on wooden hangers.The best part of my experience was them suggesting items I should try on. I ended up finding amazing items that I never would have tried! I will be back for sure!!!

I was in the area today and enjoy consignment stores so I googled and Ever After came up. This is not your average consignment shop. Knowledgeable owners who are mother and daughter - helpful, gracious and kind. Every corner of this smallish shop makes you feel as though you're in a boutique. It was a pleasure and I will definitely be back.

This is one of my favorite consignment shops in Connecticut. It’s a small space with carefully, curated, clothing, shoes, and accessories. The owners are warm, welcoming, and thoughtful.
If you share your size and preferences with them, they will reach out when something comes in that you might like! They also have a Tailor available if you find some thing that needs alterations.
This is a 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ shop!

Best kept secret for men’s suits. Ruth provided unsurpassed personal service. Never going to the men’s box stores again. Quality suits and custom fitting without an assembly line. Relaxed atmosphere. No pushy sale. I didn’t buy a suit … I had an experience.

I met Colin and Ruth back when they had a shop in Old Saybrook - every suit I have gotten from them has been the highest quality, beautifully tailored, exceptionally fast turn around time, and just truly a pleasure to deal with them.
When I was getting married, there was only one place I'd go for a new suit - and yet again it was a 10/10 experience. I went in with very little preparation and basically only told them I wanted dark navy blue. Ruth took it from there and just wanted me to look the best I could - she knew the perfect suit and style, I only needed to look at one because I had no doubts in her knowledge and experience. Colin did the alterations and again it was a perfect fit on the first try. They even threw in some pocket squares and collared shirts because they seemed genuinely excited for me, despite barely knowing me.
Their shop and their vast experience is a true treasure that you need to go and experience. I've sent a handful of friends there as well and they've all felt the same way I do.

Got a brand new with tags moto jacket that I am obsessed with here. Love this consignment shop! Clothing quality is well maintained and on trend. Prices reasonable and it’s a great place to unload your great condition but no longer worn items. Glad this shop is on my side of Middletown!

Absolutely amazing! My son had his prom and needed a tux. Ruth and her team found the perfect tux for him to wear for this special occasion. They wanted him to look and feel wonderful. He was so happy with his tux! I give them the highest recommendation and look forward to seeing them again for my next son’s prom. Thank you so much, Ruth!
