Garbage...they sold my landlord a fridge that broke in 2 weeks...they gave a mini fridge as a replacement...that was a year ago...I called and the owner actually said he has so many broken appliances to fix he cant keep track of them.

This has to be the worst experience I've ever had in my life and I'm 47 years old. I was having problems with my Television and decided to bring it into Maran's TV Appliance. The owner said it would take a week or two to get the part and have it fixed. Two weeks go by and I call. They said something about a electrical storm. So, I waited another 2 weeks which now it's a month. Still same story about electrical surge problem. They never call you back and just want you to forget and leave your TV there so they can sell it after you've waited and give up. Still to this day I never received a call which I filled the form out with all my information. Plus, had to pay $50.00 for them to look at it. I'm telling you don't have anything done at this place! They have no customer service skills and just don't care! You drop anything off to get fixed there. Best of Luck! I never did get my TV back too and they kept my $50.00 Unreal!

The owner Jim is a very friendly guy. We purchased washer and dryer, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher and Three window air conditioners. Next week a new Sony TV and a new home theater receiver. He has a great team of installers. Pricing is good too.

Don't order from here. They are disorganized and delivery is very late. Took them 3 weeks to install dishwasher which sat in the middle of my kitchen floor all that time. The 1st dishwaher they delivered wasn't the one I ordered and they tried to convince me to take it. Kept calling them and they did not return my call for days. Will go elsewhere for other appliances. This place is not good to do business with.

I love going to family owned places bought my front loader washer and dryer from there washer broke leaked had to rip my floor up they came out 4 mounths ago and still not fixed and god for bid someone calls you back so as of now very dissatisfied

Not a fan of leaving negative reviews but Moran's failed. My 88 year old mother bought a tv plus installation in the spring. Wanted to buy local. Paid in full. Delivery and installation was done. Horrible! I had installed the old tv five years ago in a cabinet with a wall bracket. Morans installed the new larger tv on the same bracket. Because it was larger, it extended lower than the old tv, blocking two drawers below. My mother called numerous times and was paid lip service. It took me 30 minutes to drill two new holes so the wall bracket could be raised 4.5 inches. Happy mother. Morans - if you don't care, don't take the business, or lower your prices so you can compete with the big boxes. Apparently service doesn't matter to you.

I really wanted to give them my business. During covid, it is important to give business to local small businesses. I needed a part repaired on my washer, and called them. Due to local storms they weren't able to come earliest at least 5 days later. Told them no huge deal since I could still use the washer. The 2 men finally showed after I called numerous times every day to see when they would come.
I had bought a used part (admittedly) tech said he didn't feel comfortable putting it in bc it was used and not new ... OK
Returned that one and bought a new one (only needed them for labor not the actual part). I called back 2 days later letting them know I got the part. I was told my name was "put in the book, he will call you". After a total of 3 weeks from start to (never finished) they ghosted me. They never called me. I guess they didn't need my business after all. Terrible being from Meriden, all of the online community told me to go to Moran's. Also, they don't give you a time frame like all other businesses in the world
The day they came up finally try to fix it, they just called me from s blocked number, asking me if I was home. The company I hired instead called me back the same day, and was at my house the next day and my washer was fixed. Too bad ....I wouldn't recommend....
