I stopped by this location today and realized that I had not brought my phone to show the cashier the 20% off coupon that was sent to my email, so I asked her before I proceeded to shop if they would be able to acknowledge the 20% off, I was informed by the girl that was present at the cash register today, if I needed to show her the coupon from my email, to get the additional discount, She said yes I needed to show her, Let’s just say that, that was in correct because I went to another big lot to shop there because she rubbed me the wrong way, and I asked them at the other location if they could acknowledge the 20% off and would you believe they said NO PROBLEM, they had the bar code taped to the register and was smooth sailing, It’s Christmas Eve, Busy time..Moral of this is this location hires young dumb lazy broad that don’t know how to or want to do their job. I live near this location but refuse to give them any business because of how they operate here. I wish I could give you all a zero stat but because the deals elsewhere at other locations are good I will continue to go with them. Excellent service just not here at this location, so for that take this one star and hopefully you all can do better!

It's Big Lots. Don't expect any frills. Periodically, you might find something decent. This Manchester store is not as clean as the Vernon store. The staff was quite friendly.

Strongly recommend avoiding this merchant. Merchandise was returned in its original package and unopened. The cashiers had a private conference and informed us that they make only a partial refund stating that it was purchased at 40% off original price. When we returned advising them merchandise was paid at full price, they refused to acknowledge that. We asked the manager and he advised us that he will not do anything about it.

One thing I love about this store is the cleanliness of the place. I always see the manager cleaning, fixing, and putting new merchandise on the floor. Love, love, love their holiday displays. And the prices are great!

I attempted to get a store credit on 2 unopened and unused items with the receipt. I was told that my receipt was past 90 days and the system cannot read the receipt. The receipt was legible. I’ve been a loyal customer and was about to make a big purchase but screw this store! It was the poor customer service that did it for me. East Hartford workers are more pleasant!

I don't know what to say besides this place has incompetent management more like management employees way too good to be working there and the happiest girl I've ever seen. I've heard more than once employees going to management about being scheduled on days their unavailable and management saying either I have nothing to do with itOrMy favI don't know when your availableYou have your employees fill out availability forms look at themIt's not that hard
