Place merged with south windsor vet, no post card nothing, never got a post card or call that it was time for my dogs rabies booster now over due..Thanks Bunches!!! not sure why post says they are open?? The closed up as I was just informed this week sometime last October.!!! Thanks for the update.

An update, Brought my really sick cat here over the summer. After paying for office visit and labs, was told with a stern voice that because my 10 yr old cat is not fixed that may have caused complications. She was so dehydrated I may very well look at having to put her down and it’s not fair to the cat. Said IV fluids would be the only way to maybe get her better and the less expensive subcutaneous fluids would not work. The vet made me feel as if I was a bad pet owner and shame on me this is the result of not fixing my cat and I should know better. Took my cat to bolton hospital, they gave her subcutaneous fluids and after diligent care of nursing my cat and syringe feeding her liquid food, she recovered after 3 long weeks, and is healthy and no further issues. Some love and tlc is what it took. So glad I didn’t put her down!

We have been using Animal Medical Clinic for out pet care for years. Dr. Vitelli is wonderful to work with. He shows great concern for our animal companions, and takes time to get to know not only them but their human companions as well.

Really like this smaller animal hospital. I was tired of corporate vet hospitals and their lack of personal attention. I now bring both my dogs here for wellness and cardiac care for the one who has issues. I get results back faster than other hospitals and the staff is very kind and caring.

I brought my little Minnie in to be spayed. The med techs, girls in front & back were great. They are my daughter's vet so when the parents went as kittens, (at 6 mos). ended up finding out they were pregnant. Minnie is one of the four kittens from that. Now have been fixed there. Highly.recommend them,unfortunately pI live far a way but the parents will stay there for care.

They got me on the same day i called as a sick visit for my dog with seasonal allergies. I was very impressed with the doctor and her gentle touch with my 9lb dog, too. She had to clean out her eyes and put ointment in them. I will be going there from now on.

Dr. Shameroy and Dr. Vitelli are the best, along with all the technicians! They all truly care about animals and their human guardians. They are with you in every step, even the hardest. I trust their guidance and I know my kitties are in good hands.

Extremely disappointed that the new owners will not fill a prescription for a specialty vet. I use to love the hours of and now I have to take time of work, because they don't even have a weekend day available.

Animal Medical Clinic CT is extremely caring and committed. Moreover, I am impressed with their honesty and transparency. Never found any intention for unwanted tests to generate higher revenue. Keep it up. If possible, keep the clinic open on Saturday.

I have been a client with the current and prior vet teams, and I have to say my husband and I simply love Dr. Vitelli and the new staff. We were actually considering leaving the clinic prior to the transition, as we had grown very unhappy with the prior team - they were not mean or anything, but it felt to us as though they were not aware of the best/newest practices with regards to cat care and in communicating next steps with clients. I am so glad we didn't leave though as we both finally feel our cats are getting the care they deserve. Everyone is attentive, thorough, and genuinely interested in the pet and family. Dr. Vitelli even followed up personally after oral surgery for my eldest cat. Really a wonderful team.

Early in the month of December I took my cat for an appointment. I didn't look at my receipt for his visit until I got home. He had multiple services done and a charge of $6.00 was added on to each of the services. When I called they said there was some error going on and they credited me, however they didn't initially contact me and it makes me wonder how many other people were over charged. Today I brought my cat again for a visit and the vet Dr. Brittany Banning quoted me a price for bloodwork which I agreed to. Again, I didn't look at my receipt until I got home and saw that the price I was charged wasn't the price I was told it was a higher price. I called the office, told them what the vet said and they said this is the price. I think I'm vet shopping.

The amazing customer service started from the moment they answered the phone on the first try! I’ve been looking for a vet for a bit, last week I called 6 places and this was my 6th and final call. They were taking new patients, had me in the same week and communicating from that call until the day of the appointment was great! I couldn’t find paperwork for my cat, they went above and beyond by calling for me to old clinic to help alleviate the Appt. When we arrived the day of appointment all staff was kind and professional! From the front desk, to the Vet’s associate, and the Dr herself! I would hands down, eyes closed recommend them! See you next year!

Doesn't even deserve one star. They kept cancel my dogs appointmen, they would reschedule and cancel again. Claim doctor was sick. This went on for days. I will never go there.

I've been bringing my cats here since I moved to Manchester just over 10yrs ago. However, their services have been lacking more recently with increased staffing/Dr changes and and a jump in their prices. I've never had to pay for a "nurse appointment" before, and they tacked on an extra $15 just to get my cats nails trimmed. Outrageous! I'm definitely doing some vet shopping in the near future!
