Both of my children attended the Kid’s Center from age 2 thru preK. They had the same teachers which I appreciated as a parent for expectations and consistency. They were taught many valuable academic, social, behavioral, and emotional skills that have allowed them to be very successful in elementary school.

Never send your children here. The staff are poorly trained and have no knowledge of CTELDS. The 'custom curriculum' is lacking in the basic foundations of current early childhood practices. I attempted to speak to the Director, Ms. Davis, about my concerns, as well as the poor supervision of the children and she informed me that she wrote the curriculum and if I did not like it I could take my children elsewhere. . I have recently found an NAEYC accredited provider and my children are thriving. Until KKC adopts and follows a solid curriculum, hires competent teachers, and bans inappropriate employees, it should not be open.
