The frontline staff are very nice, and the compounded pharmaceutical products seem fine. My concern is the lack of communication about the length of time between doctors' orders and prescription availability. This last time it took approximately 10 days, when I expected 3 - 5 days.

Picked up two prescriptions at this pharmacy no problem the person at the counter. A young man was very polite. Dropped off a prescription at the same time. Waiting to hear the pharmacist assistant for the date I could pick the prescription up. I waited for 17 minutes with no answer from her. The young man behind the counter, asked her three times. I finally asked her myself she ignored me. Finally, she says to me if we get this prescription ready we might have to order it. What the hell does that mean? Furthermore you could’ve told me that 10 minutes ago or more and mostly I’m 65 years old and her respect is terrible, the pharmacy should let her go let her take her bad mood out on somebody else.

Tried to get a shingles vaccination on the advice of my doctor. They told me I needed a prescription. Went home and called my doctor, his office said a prescription was not required. Went back (out of some misguided sense of loyalty) and was refused again. Was heading home, pulled into CVS and got my shot. I go to CVS now.

I am so upset with this pharmacy. My dr sent a prescription and Apex never called me. They completely dropped the ball, never entered me into their system. I waited one week and called them. They rarely pick up, or they answer and immediately put you on hold, or they keep you on hold and transfer you around to 2-3 people. I gave someone there my details and they couldn't even find the prescription. Very untrained customer service and disorganized business. Someone else from Apex called me back days later to get my insurance info. When I called back with my insurance card, they didn't know which digits they needed off my insurance card!!! I called this pharmacy over SIX TIMES to ask for my meds for OVER 1 MONTH! 100% unacceptable. I finally got so mad that I asked my doctor to send the prescription to another pharmacy. My new pharmacy called me back within 1 hour and had my meds ready for pick up by the end of the day. THAT is the norm for most pharmacies.Don't make the mistake of trusting Apex with your drug orders or your patients or loved ones. If their customer service, compounding team, and order filling processes are this CHAOTIC, I'd be weary of what goes on there behind the scenes.

Longtime customer here .Girl over the counter seems to have been training. Pharmacist lady was very rude to me as if she was angry to be at work or angry to have been called for help .

I needed some medication for my cat and my doctor called it in to Apex pharmacy. There was a mixup in whether I was picking it up or it was going to be shipped USPS and a card was charged incorrectly. I spoke to several of the employees there who were all very pleasant. I finally talked to the manager refunded the card with no problem. The medication was actually still at the store so I was able to go pick it up. He showed me how to use the medication and made everything very easy. I highly recommend Apex pharmacy to anyone.

It's like old fashioned service. I went in there for the first time and they remembered speaking with me yesterday. Very personable and the store has absolutely everything you need.

Zena & the driver lied about attempting to make deliveries to me when I have to keep calling the regular driver was on vacation from what I was told & the driver filling in lied about the deliveries and now I have to go from East haven to pick up medication that no one told me about when Ihad to callin Saturday because never called me Friday to say they didn't have i. I was told they would order it for Monday STILL NO MENTION OR CALL OF ME HAVING TO PICK IT UP until I called today Monday @3:30..horrible customer service Zena who wouldn't switch me to management she said she is that personI bet apex won't reply to this review

I needed a wheel chair for my broth-in-law and could not find one anywhere! Andre from Apex saved the day! He gave me good advice that was very helpful. That is what you call superior customer service! I will use Apex for any future medical equipment needs!

Apex is like "CHEERS" everybody there knows your name. You go in only a few times and they recognize you. The pharmacy is fantastic. Super great with customer service.

This store has the most courteous staff and help. They're very attentive with all of your nutritional needs , and have a wide selection of vitamin nutrients in probiotics .

Any time I needed my medication, they would make sure I had them right on time. Very pleasant experience. You are a person and not just a customer and they treat people very well.

I witnessed the treatment of my mother being abused by staff and the head pharmacist. We had just received bad news regarding her health and apex was disgusting on the things they told her. My brother went twice for no reason and we love several towns over. My mom is paralyzed and has one of those handicap phones that record both sides so Apex should be careful how they treat their patients cuz we will release the audio. They try to say she was fighting for her meds but she was trying to make them understand if you simply tell your patients that not all will be ready that’s a very simple request to make. I DO not recommend this pharmacy especially if you or your family members are handicapped. I would’ve given zero stars if it gave option.

We ordered the parts again for my recliner. BC of the ? holidays the parts will take a while to come in. They don't carry the parts in stock to this chair my mother had. The store is doing their best.
