Worst experience of my life ! I should have read all these awful reviews !Alan Moore helped me and I was foolish and fell for his convincing customer service He gave me a 3-day Window and then ALL communication ended I called repeatedly as I was moving from PCB Florida to Phoenix Arizona for a new job , no return calls and given the run around When I finally spoke to the "actual moving company " Nick told me the fine print allows up to 30 days to deliver. I was quoted $4819 based on an inventory I covered 3 x yet when the movers arrived it was almost $2000 more I have not heard from anyone until today and I heard from the driver saying they would be here tomorrow and started adding "fees" to what I owe. It's been incredibly stressful with no communication unless initiated by me.When I move back to Texas - I will definitely use an actual mover and NOT a broker whose dishonest , full of false promises and has zero communication skills.

We moved from Florida to Iowa. Nationwide quoted with a price of $7,300. Before they got there it went up to $9,000. The day that Graebel Van Lines got there they said that it would be $15,700!!! We had no choice but to pay at that point. Our closing on the house was the next day. When we got to Iowa we found that many of our belongings never made it there. A lot of breakage and an awful mess. We will never move again but I do warn those that are to stay far away from this broker.

Nationwide/National Moving Services is a broker not a moving company. They contract your move out to an actual moving company. They give a quote, require 20% deposit with only 72 hours to cancel or they keep your deposit. The movers require 70% of remaining balance at loading which is now A LOT more money than National quoted. At delivery only one man, the driver arrived to unload our furniture. A family member had to help the "mover" unload our furniture and boxes. He didn't put our bed back together either. Unbelievable! I will never, ever use this company again!!

First and foremost this company is a BROKER and NOT a true moving company. Secondly, If you are reading this - RUN FAR AWAY.They own no trucks, storage facility, or anything. Their website is "down for maintenance" which makes it hard to obtain this information and their name is a play on different companies that are similar. They DO NOT have a UDOT# which is what you need to move freight in the USA.From my own experience: They do not disclose any of the above when trying to sign a contract with you and talk about the availability of trucks and all sorts of this and that. It makes you feel like you are talking to a legit company. This is a scam. They are basically using a bidding site with transporters who are going to take a cut of the estimate. I'm sure because they never outright say anything about their status that this is a grey area of something being legal/illegal. The actual person transporting your stuff is likely going to have several fees that they add on that were not discussed in your estimate to increase their own cut and this is where you will lose even more money. Further, Nationwide calculates in cubic feet which from what I have learned over the last month IS NOT the way moving should be done and is predatory (trust companies that use weight, not dimension). We realized this too late and were stuck with them because we paid a deposit. A lot of moving is done through brokers but beware many are predatory and if you can find a direct shipper this is your best bet. If you use a broker, make them guarantee you a mover in 24 hours, provide no deposit, and make them stick to giving your the movers information before you turn over any money. Otherwise take your business elsewhere. We shipped our car separate (Thank God) and put this type of pressure on 3 brokers. The car was shipped within 24 hours and made it to our destination one day in advance $300 below our estimate. You have to play the bad guy or you will be scammed. As for our home moving experience:This has been a nightmare and while I blame the transporter I also blame Nationwide for setting us up with this predatory company for a quick buck. The company they initially brokered was changed the day of our pickup without notice. They sent our final estimate 24 hours before our item pickup on 06/30 with a shipping company that had great reviews. The day of our move an entirely different company with horrible reviews showed up paperwork in hand --- 4 hours late. We knew we were over on items and expected to pay more; however, they have tapped on things like "long carry fees" because they parked on the wrong side of our apartment. Additionally, they did not take all of our items the same day and made us wait 24 hours to collect the rest (after collecting additional payment of course). Currently, my items are sitting in San Tan Valley, AZ (at a third party storage facility that I did not request) while I sit in an empty apartment in upstate Ohio. San Tan Valley is 40 minutes SOUTH of Phoenix (my starting location) and roughly 100 extra miles out of the way from my destination across the country. My items were promised delivery on 07/09 and have not moved a single inch since pickup. The transporter is dodgy and said they had a 38 truck fleet but suddenly doesn't know how they are going to move my things because they are "so busy." I'm sure this transporter bid lower and got the job at the last second - Nationwide didn't care because it made them a few hundred extra bucks. These are the type of people Nationwide will broker your things to. When you complain the supervisor will be "out of the office."Do not trust these people and if you have signed a contract and made a large deposit make sure you force them to give you appropriate service. Make sure your estimate is accurate and you know exactly how much stuff you have. Place AirTags in your packed boxes to track them. Ring their phones nonstop until they get sick of hearing from you - they deserve the inconvenience for what you are going to go throu

I finally got some of my home goods. My boxes were opened and retaped. My playstation, a wristwatch, sneakers and bluetooth speaker were stolen amongst a few other things. My tv stand has two broken legs. They didn't cover my new mattress so it's now filthy and unusable. They won't answer my emails or phone calls

Disturbing that a business like this could even exist and continue to operate and buy positive ratings. Run don't walk. They sell you on a move with a fake estimate which means nothing and would be doubled after the actual mover shows up. One of the worst experiences of my life.

Worse company ever. Quoted $1700 then went up to 2200. They contract and subcontract. Passing your stuff around. Cant wait to see how fucked up my furniture will be and whats missing. Delayed delivery. No communication except to say where coming today with no notice. Then they want to charge you $800 if you are not available. When you sign up they say next day delivery. Then they tell you 7-10 days. They try to upsell you constantly. They did not want to move freezer or glass.

Part:1My name is Nicole Bewley and I'm writing this email to report two companies for stealing my property from my storage unit. The companies I'm reporting are Nationwide Moving and Storage, & MC Movers. I relocated from the state of Kentucky, to the state of Georgia. I filed out inquiries online for long distant moving companies. I was contacted by Nationwide Moving and storage by text messages. I sent the representative photos of my storage unit's contents. I was quoted a $2,131 offer to move my things. On 02-25-2023, which is the night before my scheduled move; I was contacted by MC Movers dispatcher and Truck Driver. I was very confused because I scheduled, signed documents, and paid to secure my move date with Nationwide Moving and Storage. I now know that Nationwide Moving and Storage is a brokerage and hires 3rd party freight companies. Nationwide Moving and Storage blatantly lied and secured my move through predatory business practices.I was told by MC Movers dispatcher and MC Movers truck driver that my quote will change, depending on the cubic square footage of my property. I notified both parties that my quote was based on photos provided. It wasn't an estimate because the square footage is confirmed. MC Movers truck driver told me that he need to see the items in person. He said that he can't use photos. The driver also stated that if agreed upon my property would be delivered with the property of others. The MC Movers truck driver and me agreed that I will allow him to look at my items in person, and if we couldn't agree on a price; he could just leave it. On 02-26-2023, which is my scheduled move day; the MC Movers truck driver called & text me. I sent messages giving him the information to view my storage. I received text messages from both MC Movers truck driver and dispatcher. They both quoted me a price that was well over $1,000 more, than what I was previously quoted. I was violated at this point from enduring the predatory practices of these two companies.Part2They both quoted me a price that was well over $1,000 more, than what I was previously quoted. I was violated at this point from enduring the predatory practices of these two companies. I called the MC Movers dispatcher and told her to leave my storage unit, and refund my $600 to secure the date. I have a career in healthcare. I was working a 12 hour shift that day. I have sick patients and couldn't take phone calls. I went back to work and immediately texted the MC Movers dispatcher to refund my money & to leave my storage, as discussed on the phone call. At 11:46 am standard eastern time the dispatcher responded to my message saying "ok I will have the driver leave the location. Have a good day". I went back to work as I stated before, I was working a 12 hour shift and had sick patients. I sent a text message 4 hours later at 3:43 pm to the MC Movers truck driver and dispatcher, stating, "Hello.I need confirmation that my belongings were left at the storage unit". The driver responds "it was picked up". I responded to the driver" I was told at 11:46 am this morning, that my belongings were being left at my storage unit at 273 Ruccio way, Lexington Ky.... I have another company on the way to pick it up." THIS IS A BLATANT LIE THAT IS SIMPLY DISPROVEN. THE MESSAGES THAT I'VE ATTACHED SHOWS THE DISPATCHER GIVING ME QUOTES AT 11:30 AM. ONLY 16 MINUTES LATER AT 11:46 AM, IM SAYING I WANT A REFUND AND MY BELONGINGS LEFT.THE DISPATCHER RESPONDS AT 11:46 AM THAT SHE IS HAVING THE DRIVER LEAVE MY PROPERTY. MY PROPERTY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN LOADED IN 16 MINUTES OF THEM QUOTING ME A PRICE, THAT I REFUSED. MC Movers stole my property and has it in their possession.

THIS IS A SCAM SERVICE. they upcharge you by $3,000-$5,000 on day of move-in so you have no option but to accept their terms. They also broke 7-8 items and damaged the building upon move-in so I lost my security deposit on top of that. I probably have poured 40+ hours into dealing with the aftermath of my move-in and I couldn't rate this company any lower.

SCAM SCAM SCAM! This is a Scam company stay away at all costs!! This company contracts out to a separate moving company Next Stop Moving& Storage and they actually moves your items. The person who booked my reservation and I quote "I will only get charged for the space used in the truck" when in fact that was a lie. Once the contract is written up you will 100% be charged for everything. You do not get charged for the "space taken up". They overpriced me and i was overcharged. Also, they blindsided me and you will not get your items the same day or even the same week. Expect to wait upwards to three weeks for your things. There are way better more affordable, and more professional moving companies that are all in one and don't subcontract out to a completely different company to complete your move. They also arrived late even though the arrival window was over 4 hours long...still late. And they delivered another person's belongings.

Worst service ever!!!! If you value your belongings for the love of god do not sign with this company. They let all of our stuff sit out in the poring rain before they loaded it in the truck. When it arrived at our destination more than a month later, all of our belongings were wet and or molding. Then they wouldn't start unloading the truck into our storage unit until we paid in full. The amount they wanted was 4x what we were quoted. Also, we were supposed to get two eeeks notice before our stuff arrived, but they called us the day before. Don't make the same mistake as us. This company cannot be trusted.

SCAM ALERT, BUYER BEWARE!!! Wow, I can't believe we fell for this. We are moving from PA to TN, and hired this company to relocate us. On our first call, we were told by the rep that we would be picked up on 12-6 or 12-7 and it would take 2 days to have our belongings moved into our new residence in TN... I asked her why it would take them 2 days to make a 10 hour trip, and she explained that with weigh stations, breaks, and trucking regulations they would need the two days... It is now 12/6 and we are being told that they will pick us up on 12/7 and that it could take up to 3 WEEKS for our belongings to make it to our new residence... After explaining that we were told it will take two days, they told us that we had 3 days to cancel the contract and that we will not be getting any sort of refund... Absolute scam. Absolute scum. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS JOKE!

This is a horrible company they sent a horrible moving company out to me movers and Packers The people that came out had no idea what they were doing they picked a price which was two and a half times the original estimate when they moved my stuff they damaged my house they ran a piece of my furniture into the wall and put the hole in it and did nothing about it they left trash in the house including empty water bottles they were drinking out of The when they got to my new house they told my wife that she had to give them $300 in cash or they would not bring the stuff in the house and they would not put anything together after arguing with them they've got so abusive my wife had to call the police they damaged stuff stole stuff and national movement and storage was no help I have been talking to him since July they finally just told me that they weren't going to do anything The owner said too bad we got our money so run away from these people do not use them okay

Horrible!! Never use these cons. Lost my money because they are trying to enforce a contract that I didn't sign. Tried to say that I requested information that I did not. Tried to "read my email" and I ha to point out even there that they were wrong. I would recommend using a cart and horse before recommending this "company".

Worst experience ever! We was hesitant us a moving company, but we were moving our son and thought this would be easiest since we could not physically help. We were quoted a price. I continuously asked if there were any extra charges. Was told no. I asked how to pack pictures, mirror, and different items. I was told on pictures and mirrors to wrap and tape-which we did. Asked about deliver, was told wold be delivered by end of week. when the movers arrived we were charged for them to walk up stairs - which we told them we were on second level- charged because the pictures and mirrors were not packed correctly. $$$$. Was three weeks before the furniture was delivered. Sleeping on the floor and using lawn chairs and had to buy kitchen supplies because they had all the dishes and pans. Would not recommend this company. Feel like I was duped.
