Decided to purchase a bottle of wine from this liquor store because it was next to trader joe’s where I was getting my groceries for the week. As a 21 year old, they would not sell to me. I am from New York and have an enhanced drivers license. Due to their faulty system and it not being updated my id would not scan. The workers behind the register were nothing but rude and started harassing me and telling me my id was “fake” when I am indeed of age to purchase alcohol. Not to mention the young man behind the counter had hickeys all over his neck which is extremely unprofessional. I had to have my roommate who is also 21 years old like I am go in and purchase it for me. While in the store she handed me the bottle of wine so they obviously knew it was for me. I walked out of the store with the wine in my hand and they allowed THAT. I’m not really sure of how there system works but even if I was a minor they were aware that someone who they thought was under 21 left there store with a bottle of their alcohol. Both there system and the employees attitudes need an adjustment.

Amazing store. One of the best curated wine selections I have seen in years. Massive organic wine selection. They even have my favorite USDA organic Live a Little wines. Very knowledgeable staff. All round fantastic store for beet, wine and some amazing spirits. If you love wine this is your store.

I had zero expectations because we are in Fairfield where they still serve food and drink like it's 1989, but this place has a surprisingly good selection for its size, particularly interesting varietals, and a staff that really knows their stuff off the top of their head.

Used my passport ID as my form of ID because I do not have a drivers license, to be clear I have 5 identification methods in my wallet, they did not care and said they wouldn’t accept my business even though they are clearly all real. Absolutely insane, do not take your business here there are plenty of other establishments all around Fairfield to buy alcohol. Thanks.
