I went to Southport for a beer with lunch, I parked on the street directly in front of Kasson Jewelers' front door. I did not know I was looking for a family owned, super special jewelry store. There was no way I knew what I was looking for once inside. The staff and owner listened to my ideas and showed me beautiful pieces including a ruby necklace that physically displays my emotional sentiment. Can't wait till my next visit.

I had to have to clasp fixed on my Rolex, and because I like to patronize small shops, this jeweler did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with respect and as though I had been doing business here forever. Please stop by of you are on the fence, you will not get the same quality service from the corporate stores in Westport, you will be treated like royalty here!

Friendly staff and owners, fulfills ordering promptly. They also have a wide variety of products like pocket knives and men’s jewelry. Very happy with my purchase!

Love this local, family owned jewelry store. We purchased our wedding rings from Kasson and we have recommended many of our friends since who have also purchased rings from them. Very helpful and attentive staff. Michael has been helping us since day one and he is great.

I have lived in the Fairfield/Westport area most of my life, and I have never felt that anyone “looked down” upon me until I walked into Kassins. My mother is a regular customer there, and highly recommended them to me. I brought in a pearl necklace in to be fixed that I had purchased from United House Wrecking that had a broken clasp. I was greeted by a gentleman with grey hair (who according to my mother is not the owner, but an employee), and he asked me what he could help me with. I explained the situation and only asked if they could fix the broken clasp. Then gentleman then decided to give me his full opinion on the necklace which was NOT asked for—that he determined that the necklace was “fake” and then asked me if I still wanted the clasp fixed given the information. I was made to feel very awkward by the tone he used, and I felt like I had to justify why I still wanted this supposed “fake” necklace fixed (the reason was because I really liked it regardless of how valuable it was). Needless to say, I felt very discriminated against—that this gentleman made me feel that I had no money, that I was looked down upon for liking a fake necklace and still wanting it fixed, even though I had just previously stated that my mother was a regular customer.The actual necklace clasp was fixed very well, and I can finally wear it. The work was excellent, but I never want to return based on how that employee made me feel as a customer. I’ll bring my business elsewhere.

I was in Southport a few weeks ago and wanted to check out Kasson Jewelers. I had passed many times but never checked out the store. Upon entering a dark curly haired woman approached me and asked if I needed assistance and I said I was just browsing and explained how I had passed the store many times and decided today I would check it out (we had just had lunch at Horseshoe Bar and I had time to browse). The store was not busy, but there were a few women chatting up the help, seemed more social conversation than business. As I browsed the dark haired woman approached and explained to me which was the "high end" section items in the store and directed me to the "sale" display and "under 500.00 display case" stating I would be more interested in those displays. Well I just looked at her, I was quite taken aback at her sales approach, thanked her for her time and promptly left the store. I told my husband I was very insulted by this and how the heck did this woman have the nerve to assume I needed to see the sale or under 500.00 case. Believe me in my 60 years on the planet I have never left a jewelers so annoyed in my life and I have been in many and have some lovely pieces to show for it. Just wanted to let management know, I will not be purchasing my anniversary gift from Kasson Jewelers and would not recommend this store and its sales services to anyone else. Remember when you assume, you make an a** out of u and me. If I didn't think I could have afforded your jewelry, I never would have entered your store. Karen - Shelton CT.

Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable of their products in the shop and I was able to learn a lot! Everyone is friendly and helpful and definitely created a unique experience that stood above the rest in the industry. They are truly trustworthy, honest & amazing jewelers!
