I am a long time Talbot shopper. Walking into the store today, wearing their clothes, there was no Hi, welcome,. I had browsed almost the entire store before a sales associate bothered to ask me if I needed assistance. I actually waited to check out a particular corner of clothes while an associate was helping another shopper. Really? I observed at least 3 employees. There might have been 4. Very disappointing. I have not observed this behavior at other locations. I had put my Talbot charge card in my wallet just for this visit.

The staff is very helpful, that's valuable to me. The store has a lot of inventory, plenty to look at and try on. The quality of the merchandise is very much with our times. The merchandise is not cheap, but they have sales frequently.

Sitting in Talbots currently, waiting for my mom, who is elderly, she has been at the register for over a half an hour, the staff is completely inept We ask that the staff return her sweater and scarf, she ordered a different one, and we gave two other items and my mom's credit card to complete the transaction my mom went to try on one blouse. Now we are here a half an hour later, my mom has been told to put her credit card in the machine over a dozen times, there are other staff members here who are completely ignoring the fact that my elderly mother is standing here unhelped for an exorbitant amount of time, NEVER AGAIN #Yes, we had our patient pants on, and they wore them out
