We have been taking our family pets to Dr. Bell since I was a kid! He has been with us through the good, the bad, and the absolute worst. Now with a family of my own and living in MA I still make the drive to take our little ones to Freshwater. I'm a Nervous Nelly, and the team there never makes me feel bad or bothersome about my frequent concerns.

This is NOT a hospital…. False advertising.They turned away my pup with a smile when I took him in for an emergency. Thank you for nothing!

We were extremely lucky to get in with Dr. Bell today. He saved the day and was wonderful with our 15 year old pup.

Dr. Bell is the best! He is kind, patient, and thorough with the animals in his care. He provides many extended in-house services such as blood work, specimen examinination, and x-rays. He will explain all options and if it is a treatment he does not offer there, he will still give a cost estimate and guidance. His staff is also very friendly and helpful!

I’ve been coming here for years with our prior dog who passed away last year. We got a new puppy Staria, brought her to Dr.Bell for a good check up and I swear it was only 5 mins and we were out. Just said she was good. He also questioned where I got her from and the vibe I got from it just felt uncomfortable. Today I bring Staria to Ellington Animal Vet and WOW! They were so informative and the check up was a a long good one and was very informative as he was doing the exam. The staff were so friendly and made me feel so good about this place! Gave me a puppy bag with some goodies and information on her next vaccine shots and everything. This is why I’m coming on here to review Freshwater, the experience I got today from Ellington makes Freshwater vet just absolutely terrible.

Dr Bell is amazing. I recommend him to all the parents of our pups liter. He makes sure that each pup feels comfortable and loved. Always treats us kind and professional. If you live in the area, I highly recommend him for all your fur babies vet visits!! We love nurse Melissa as well
