Been paying for 500mb download for months and months. Never had more than 120mb download speed. 8 days a month on average with 1mb download! Nuts. They’ve had techs out, new modems, new router, new line from the street to the house. And what? Nothing fixed? Crazyyyyyy. Only getting 20% of what we pay for, sounds like an 80% refund! Been tracking the speeds 24/7 for 3 months and finding out how much of what I’m paying for is actually being received. Go with frontier and heck even starlink would be better. Seen faster internet in a town of 200 people in the desert than what cox provides in freakin CONNECTICUT

Cox store @54 hazard Ave, Enfield. I recently returned some cable equipment , the young man that helped me was really good! He got me in and out in 2 minutes!. This is after being on the phone with internet service for 50 minutes!. Now that is way to long!. To cancel my cable service . That sucked!.

Cox's Wifi is HORRIBLE. As someone in the IT-field who works from home 3rd shift, I can honestly say I have NEVER had a provider so bad. The Wi-Fi goes into an outage at least once month, sometimes multiple nights in a row...forcing me to drive into work at all hours of the night. I understand the need to update and/or do network maintenance every now and then, but I NEVER dealt with this many instances with Xfinity in all of my years working my job. I pay for the top-teir internet product they offer only to NOT be able to use it when I need to...without ANY maintenance warnings or alerts. I'm beyond disappointed and after, yet another, night in a row that I will be having to drive into the office at 3am, I will be calling in to complain and get my bill reduced. Today is 4/19/23 and they currently have a notice on the site saying the outage may be active until 3/23/23?!?!?! They're AWFUL. 0 out of 10...would NEVER recommend.

I went to the store to cancel my account and the person that handled it " older gray hair beard" was rude and act that I was inconveniencing him. Then my wife went to the store to pay the last bill a couple of day later and she mentioned about a person that was very rude and she saided the same thing. she described the same person

Never do business with these guys! The data caps are ridiculous, I've gone over once and they've threatened to bill me. They raise rates after the intro period and charge absurd amounts for plans. The cancellation number just disconnects you. I finally had to use chat to cancel and he refused to cancel me and started asking me questions. Had to file BBB for the second time. Worst company of the decade!

Like others I'd leave negative stars if I could.Where is the government oversight? I've never felt as if I'm being ripped off as much as I do with Cox. I never appreciated my former cable provider until now. Before moving across the border to CT, all that was needed was one DVR in the house, the other TV's could view recordings on that DVR. Not with COX, each TV will require a DVR. What I used to get in a mid tier package (Discover, History, Science, etc) is now only available in the top tier package with Cox. They will attempt to tell you the router that you know is compatible, isn't. Think you're going to cut the cord and stream, well guess what, Cox is the only cable company I know that has data caps. But you won't know that they have data caps until you get your bill.Plugged in an old Free Air antenna and was shocked to get 45 english speaking channels. As a result I've informed the household that in 30 days we will be going the free air route. There is no chance I can continue to pay $250+ a month just to watch TV. Cox has just ruined it for me. I feel so dirty.
