What the f*** do we have here? I was sitting down at work looking for fine liquors on the clock as I always do, and I figured I'd give this place a call to see if they had my sought after Johnny Walker Blue Label. I was looking for a snazzy gift for my brother Paulie Shmeat Pocket. The guy picks up the phone and I simply ask him if they have it in stock. He replies yes. I'm elated to the point where I almost pop a chubby. I then asked how much it was per bottle. All he says is "you have to come inside" and then hangs up the phone right in my face. In my f****** face. My semi chub instantly turned bright red with anger as I was treated so poorly by this dying and irrelevant liquor store no one even shops at. Here I am thinking I can give this guy some business but clearly he didn't even want it. I will personally not rest until I sink this place under. Usually my reviews are full of joy and laughter. This one is completely serious and true. I will take you down liquor man. You have my word. Dial tone was sub par.

My boyfriend and I recently moved over to New Haven and I was looking for a close place to buy wine. This place is small but has a decent selection of wine. The owner is very helpful and recommended some different wines to us. Great service. It became my new go to Wine store.

Happy to review this liquor store discovery......On a road trip, wife and I needed liquor before the Xmas shutdown. We arrived just in time. Very knowledgeable and friendly (likely) owner. Cheery welcome (even at 7 p.m. on xmas eve) as soon as we walked in the door. Surprisingly well kept place - a small store (with a good beer selection, 5-10 microbrews). We grabbed a pack of dogfish and a few magnums of wine. Great experience; we felt the gentleman was knowledgeable about his selections.
