Mark and I have made many large purchases from national lumber company. However, if you pay cash this company will hold up your refund for over a month. They keep telling us the nonchalantly, that the check is in the mail, so we are still waiting for a refund for material that we returned. They will not give you a tracking number they will give you, the runaround and make you feel like a bother for wanting what’s owed to you. Make sure they explain the return policy if you use Cash with this company. We also found out after the fact that most of the material is more expensive than other lumber companies and also stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s so search around.

After calling over 9 other lumbar suppliers I finally had luck with national building products having what I need in stock! We were a few pieces short on our trex decking and miraculously they had the exact color and length needed! Thank you for saving my deck and not having me wait until mid August to be able to finish! Customer service over the phone was great as well!

Price gouging working contractors firing covid.Home Depot has lower prices and the same lumber (garbage).Do yourself a favor an go elsewhere.

Product availability is great even when covid19 carry’s on. I ordered some product which I waited 2 weeks for. When it came, it was the wrong color and damaged. That issue wasn’t the staffs fault so I can’t knock them there. They handled it. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the other one star I used to rate their communication. You're better off going into this place because their customer service over the phone is awful. You can hear the dismissiveness in everyone’s voice. They’d rather help and answer questions in person. If they don’t know you as a regular contractor, be prepared to be treated like one.
