The whole experience from beginning to end was great EXCEPT, they did not cut the hole for the sink correct. They cut it too far back so we had to cut through the base cabinet to install the faucet in a very tight space underneath. The faucet sits against the backsplash and windowsill. The handle of the faucet hits the backsplash so it does not open fully. When I contacted the company, they basically blamed it on the new guy and did not offer a resolution or reduction in cost for their error.

We had such a great experience with the entire process of purchasing our quartz countertop from Granite City. Natasha was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. She ensured we were getting what we wanted and understood the details of everything. She took time to ensure we were happy with what we picked. The installation process was also great and the installers were so kind and professional.

The Granite City, East Hartford. Quartz vanity top and under mount sink. Alcove installation. Nothing went smoothly. My contractor provided vanity top dimensions for approval. Approval document was delayed. When it was finally sent, the dimensions were incorrect. Correct dimensions finally sent for approval after more delay. When my contractor went to pick up the vanity top and sink, the top was cut 3/16" too narrow. Back splash and two side splashes specified at 4 inches high. One of the side splashes was only 3 7/8" high. Vanity top and side splashes remade. Second vanity top was 1/8" wider than specified. Fortunately we had enough room to fit the vanity top within the alcove. But it was a tight fit. A lot of silicone residue inside the sink and on the vanity top. Time consuming to remove. Overall workmanship poor. Rough cuts which my contractor hide with caulking. My contractor said he would never recommend The Granite City to any of his customers. Neither would I. BTW, I live in CT. Not CA.

We just received our countertop from Granite City. The experience was amazing! Their customer service was so friendly and accommodating. From answering countless questions to picking the piece we wanted from the main slab, and the installation at the end. It was flawless! I can highly recommend buying from them. Thank you for the best experience!!!

Very disorganized, their people who come to install talk to you like a cop on a power trip, while working they damage your things and say it was already damaged, horrible experience! stay away!!

Had a really rough start with their representative. I was extremely misinformed and her communication style was abrasive. Asked to speak with management/owner and ended up having a really positive experience with him. Still did not get to go with the sink style that I wanted for the fear of being delayed but he was kind and extremely easy to work with. Overall I am pleased and would recommend.

Worst Customer service, Went into the store about 3 weeks ago looking for a Fire pit . Stephanie who went to the back to look for the fireplace came back and had a full-blown conservation with another customer talking about personal things. We waited about 25 minutes just to say they did not have any together. Stephanie said to call on Saturday and we will have one ready for you. I called and it was not ready, I was told to call back on Monday which I did and Spoke to Stephanie again who took all my information and said she will call me back later. Its been 3 Weeks and No phone call.

Had our countertops installed. Everything from picking out granite, to coming to measure, to the install was wonderful. Down to earth folks. No pushy salespeople. Would highly recommend!

I have been working with a lot of different contractors during our renovation and the granite city folks, by far, have been the best to work with. Sarah, in sales (front office) is professional, yet real and down to earth. She has a clear knack for being able to sell a product in an honest manner (which is non-existent today in the world of sales). Additionally, her customer service skills are stellar! The installers were top notch professionals. They took the absolute most and best care to protect my floors and leave their work area perfectly clean, of anyone (including owners of companies) that have entered my home during this trying time). They are hard working and very personable…two traits not often found together in the home improvement industry. My kitchen and bathroom counters are both beautiful and functional. I will definitely use the granite city again in my next home!! Thanks Granite City!

My entire experience exceeded my expectations! Sarah who handled the logistics of my details with great attention to my vision, was amazing. She took the time to escort me around the showroom, give her professional opinions and I never felt pressured or rushed. The gentlemen, who did the installation, Jr, Brian and Carl, were absolutely amazing. Their workmanship was of the highest quality. I can't say enough on what a wonderful team I worked with from Granite City!! Highly recommend!! And best of all my countertops are gorgeous!!

Anthony and team did a great job replacing our old granite countertops. We're really happy. I don't know how they got the old ones out without damaging the backsplash but they did it. True professionals. The new tops look great and I'm confident they'll last for years.
