There was initially a short break in communication and a little confusion over the exact part that would be needed ; but the end result was that Paul's Auto more than made up for any perceived inconvenience by going above and beyond anything I have ever experienced or would ever expect from a repair shop.Kyle & the team were overly generous in their final repair of my car. Once I decided which vehicle I wanted to pursue, he provided me with the trade in price for my car and the price for my new vehicle. “At 111k miles my 2013 Ram 2500 had a transmission issue that forced it into "limp mode" which only allows 4th and reverse gears (so you can get it to service). I brought it to Talcot Transmissions in West Hartford and they charged me $145 to "diagnose" it. They claimed the transmission needed to be removed and completely rebuilt for an additional cost of $5600. I had doubts whether all the work was needed so I brought the truck to AAMCO of East Hartford. At AAMCO Steph did a free check and diagnosed a problem with the solenoid pack. The problem was repaired with new parts and works great (for $1525 including tax). Thanks to AAMCO and no thanks to Talcot Transmissions.”

“My car was stuttering when it shifted gears and I didn't want to pay the $200 diagnostic fee at the dealership. I took it to Jones because they had a much more reasonable fee and would then take it off the cost of repairs. Tim was my mechanic and he kept in constant communication with me as he diagnosed the car. He had it done on time and walked me through everything again when I arrived. He also gave me detailed printouts of the issues. I got honest answers and saved hundreds by not going to the dealership! There are only four people that work there and they are all great! I would highly recommend and will be taking my car here anytime I need work done!! Thank you for taking care of a working mom who knows next to nothing about cars!!”
