Been customer for over 30 years. The office staff and service call staff have always responded to concerns, furnace issues promptly. Servicemen have been professional and efficient and always get the problem fixed. Very pleased

I am so disappointed in Hoffman. We just renewed our service after a year in our house. Today, our AC broke and is blowing warm air. I called the emergency line, and was told “their emergency technicians don’t cover AC repair”. I was told the earliest a service tech could get here would be Monday (it’s Saturday) and that I should “call back to double check to ensure a service call was scheduled”. When I questioned how that made any sense, the technician repeated herself and said “as I just stated, you should call back to make sure”. I’m completely at a loss as to how having no AC in the dead of summer is not considered an emergency when we pay $500/month for the service they provide.We are now paying a different company to come out for an emergency visit. My mind is blown and I look forward to speaking with a manager on Monday about this experience.

I have been using Hoffman for 30 year. In that time they have serviced our furnace and delivered our oil. On occasion they have come out at midnight and done repairs when our burner fails. Deliveries have always come without fail.

Worst company in existence. They overcharged me and created their own market price 12 cents off the ceiling. They sent me to collections for an early termination fee and then admitted how poorly they acted and offered to split it! Outrageous. I have filed complaints with several agencies and this seems to be common for them. Avoid at all cost!

Wonderful company. Very helpful customer service. Professional. Always have dealt with a live person on the other end. My husband and I moved into our house in the winter and had a low oil tank. Someone was out within 48 hours. Had an issue with our furnace and someone was out the same day. Would recommend to anyone.Services: Heating system repair

Worst oil company I have ever dealt with. Had a ceiling of $4.79They said they were charging “market”My market was $4.67 for three fills. I called around and was quoted $3.50I called and they said their market was determined by them. Thieves!!!!!They refused to match and keep sending me $399 cancellation fee. My next call is to the state. Do NOT use this company.I was robbed on three full tanks!!

Over the years mostly good. I recently bought a water heater from them. Their subcontractor did not do such a good job cleaning up. Left dangling wires. Needed repeat Hoffman visits to set matters right.Services: Water heater repair

Horrible customer service. Had the "premier service plan". They would make us wait 3-4 months for services and when they came out to service our appliances they would either break something or not check something properly. Overcharged for oil and they lied amount the amount of oil filled. Truly a terribly run business. Unreliable. They do not care about their customers. I would never recommend. Please beware of this company.
