I made a research appointment here. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind while working through my family history. Patrick Wells brought out several things relating to my family surnames in advance so that I wouldn't have to wait. While I did not find all the information I was looking for, it was still worth it to check out what they had to offer.

It is a tiny museum worth visiting if you are in the area and have 15-20 mins on hands. Free admission. Exhibition is not very rich but it’s a good introduction to Danbury history. Old restaurant menus and photos are highlights of it.

I lived in CT for 8 yrs back . I had no idea (until I just watched on WHUT-Howard University Television)the world famous Marian Anderson(and architect husband, Orpheus H. “King” Fisher)had a home here. I would definitely had visited this museum. I’ll do that and post great pics.

Like a native New Yorker who never went to the Statue of Liberty or an opera at the Met, I now live one town away in Connecticut and never went to visit the Marion Anderson Studio. After watching a PBS Special about her this week, this will change ASAP. What a beautiful woman inside and out, but nothing can compare to the voice that came out. Her rendition of Ava Maria gave me goosebumps!

Versatile, underutilized gem. Great resource and resources. Excellent people.Like many nonprofits, stepping up during this pandemic. Come see the outdoor exhibits. Call them to schedule your group events.

I went to the museum at Danbury but it was close, but outside was very interesting, so I just think of the inside how beautiful it should be. Coronavirus stop everything now, hoping to go back soon. To view and look at adventure I have never seen. I think going back should be very nice. Looking forward to it.
