They've lost a very loyal customer! I had a very negative and disrespectful experience with the Sales Manager. I've purchased my last 2 cars from them over the last 6 years. Today I went to get a trade in value for my car (after receiving a letter from them saying it was worth XX amount). I did my homework online prior to my visit to double check its value. When he came back with a price for my car over $10,000 LESS than what I was expecting I said "I think I can do better. Please let me have my keys". He handed me my keys and said "When you decide to get back to reality, feel free to come back to us!" Even if he thought I was off my rocker for expecting a price around the quote THEY had said it was worth, there was absolutely no need to be so disrespectful.

Purchased a Jeep on 8/7. Was satisfied with the sales process, with Doug who was excellent and would have given 5 stars if the rest of the process worked out appropriately. I was putting a very large deposit down and was instructed by the finance team to ask my bank to increase the amount that can be charged in a day. I got approval from my bank same day.
I returned on 8/8 to pick up the Jeep and finish the deposit. I was met with what I felt like was attitude. They treated me like I was a criminal trying to walk away with the Jeep, and they said they cannot accept any cash, personal check or debit card. It was absolutely ridiculous - I was about to walk away, but they told me they would make an exception. Whatever. After threatening to end the agreement, they agreed to give me a dealer plate until the cash cleared.
Well, according to my bank it cleared the next business day. I just picked it up on 8/27 today. I was not met with an apology or any type of paperwork. I’ll have to call and arrange a copy of what I signed off on. Would not recommend and last time I’ll use this dealer.

8/26 - updating my review based on the outreach from Danbury Chrysler and this person taking the time to explain what happened.
I called and emailed this dealership about a car, set an appointment to buy the car, confirmed the appt 4x, texted with them on my way there and when I got there they said the car wasn't available.

I had a terrific experience here with Scott Nilsen. This is my second car I have purchased at Danbury and the experience was so far ahead of anything else I have experienced in the past. Scott specifically was outstanding. We had a lot of things going on with this transaction and he really worked to take the complexity out of it. We got to a very fair deal and I came out with the car that we really wanted. Could not be happier. Highly recommended!!!
