Nice rooms, we had a balcony, one of the higher priced hotels in the area yet only one without free breakfast. They do have a 'restaurant' with limited fairly expensive options. Fire alarms went off around 11pm, no rooms were contacted or announcements made with instructions or what the issue was.

Did an amazing job with the new remodel. Such a great social space downstairs.Only complaint is someone thought jt was a good idea to not put the hot tub back in, after a long drive or trip the hot tub is amazing. Lack of hot tub will cause me and others to look elsewhere which is a shame bc it really is an amazing new look and the best vibe.

Pleasantly surprised upon my arrival. Clean, quiet. Fair and reasonable prices. At least on terms of room rate and prices at the lobby market. Makes the Springhill seem like a complete miss. Stay here instead.

We recently stayed as we were passing through town and were very pleasantly surprised. Greeted very warmly upon arrival, hotel and rooms were very clean and well appointed with a modern feel. Refrigerator in room and access to a microwave in the lobby. Excellent gym and coffee in the morning. All the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely return.

My aunt is a wheel chair bound special ed. teacher who was in town for a 60th anniversary celebration. The accessibility room she was given had NO ROLL SHOWER OR BATHROOM BARS! Thats a federal violation to advertise that room as ADA. They offered to make her to a room on the second floor.My aunt asked: “in case of emergency (when the elevator isn't working) do you have a plan to evacuate me from the second floor.” THE HOTEL SAID NO!Another federal violation! Yes, we’ll be making a stink about this to all the proper agencies because disabled rights are always overlooked. Good thing we have the connections after my aunts 30 YEARS of teaching!

After checking into my room I noticed the bedspread was filthy and stained . Decided to look deeper into the room only to find out the towels was not set and the pillow was on the floor. They gave me the room at the end of the hall by the steps which we know is the worst. I immediately called and requested a new room. After receiving the key I went to the new assigned room only to find that it was a nasty spell that I couldn't tell what it was . I felt unsafe in that room and had to go back down stairs to get a new room. After all of this no apologies, no upgrades to a bigger room, no points or even a bottle water from the market. I felt underappreciated as a. Marriott Bonvy member. Most likey will never stay there again.

They are almost done completing their renovation, and the rooms are really nicely done. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here.

Jennifer and Silvia are Rockstars! I never wrote a review before and created a Yelp account just to recognize these two ladies going above and beyond that of a "common" employee in their position and showing explementary service.Back Story- We had a Venue Cancellation around the Philadelphia area at the last minute for one of our children's sports activities, due to the Canadian Wildfires. We were able to transfer to the Connecticut Venue around this location and initially looked at Hotels/ B&B's closer to the site and figured we would make a mini vacation out of it as we had/ have never been to Connecticut. Everything within a 20 min or so radius was completely booked, didn't offer rooms for a family of 5, didn't have adjoining rooms, etc.After broadening the radius, I narrowed the choices down to about 3 options... Dreading the phone call, thinking I will hit the same set of problems or at least eat it and have to pay for two adjoining rooms.I called this location first, spoke with Jennifer and Silvia and they immediately took the stress off my shoulders! They were genuinely interested in my visit and how they can make the best of our experience, knowledgeable on attractions/ history of surrounding area, etc. After establishing the best set up, they were diligent in trying to find any offers/ promos available. I mentioned in passing about being a veteran and they do offer discounts. I must say Courtyard is very, very generous with their veteran/ military discounts.In closing, these two ladies are assets while being Liaison's and Ambassador's to the Courtyard name and the State of Connecticut. If their customer service and professionalism is the standard among the Courtyard Brand, coupled with the generous military appreciation, they sold me and I will be a customer for life. As our kids get older, we find ourselves traveling more and staying in hotels. Due to this experience, I have no desire to look for anything other than a Courtyard... Lot of pressure Courtyard, don't mess it up! lol.

Was only in for 1 night. The desk staff were efficient and professional. room, hallway, lobby Immaculate. The breakfast burrito was fresh and delicious. Coffee perfect. The server behind the breakfast bar was friendly and awesome

Great experience! I stayed for 3 days while recovering from an intense dental surgery and they were very accommodating. The room was great with a beautiful mountain view!

As a lifetime platinum member of Marriott I have stayed all over the world with Marriott and stayed here multiple times. This one was one of the worst ever. The room was dirty see pictures below and its clear people are not happy to work there from the front desk to the restaurant. You need to make sure your people open on time at 630 am especially when you need you to leave at a specific time. You might also make sure you tell people rooms will not be cleaned daily when you check in. A very poorly run place.

We used this hotel for our room block for our wedding in August and were so incredibly happy with it! We worked closely with Abby Weber to coordinate it all and she was wonderful. The hotel is great, the rooms were perfect and the staff really took the time to make sure things went smoothly for us and our guests. We gave them copies of our schedule so they could help inform guests who had questions and they did a great job handing out our welcome bags to all our friends and family staying there. They even left chocolates and champagne in our room for the night of our wedding which was super sweet! Being so close to Black Angus was awesome too - many guests had meals there and we did our after party at their bar when our reception was over. Highly recommend!
