I had an amazing experience here. My back panel was damaged and the piece was on back order, but the manufacturer kept pushing the date further and further back. The team at Lang’s consistently called and updated us on the status of my car as well as communicating with the manufacturer to try and get me some sort of compensation as it ultimately took around 5 months to even get the part in. They were incredibly polite and friendly, even helping me get a parking permit off of my damaged car.
I can’t recommend the team at Lang’s enough. They were professional, kind, and caring about my situation. Thank you so much for everything!

My experience with Langs Auto Body, located in Brookfield CT, was one of the most frustrating and dissatisfying experiences I have ever had in my life. I had gotten into an accident back in October 2023 and had to have my car fixed through the other party’s insurance therefore, I had no choice but to go with Langs. Beginning of January my car went in to get fixed and it took a couple weeks but that wasn’t the issue. The issue was there was overspray ALL over my car. A car that I paid for, a car that I STILL AM paying off. I brought the car back to the shop for Bobby to look at it, he claimed he was not sure what is was but they could take care of it on their behalf. I agreed to that and he and my father set up a day and they paid for a rental car for the day, which my father had to ask for. This past Wednesday I brought my car over to langs for the overspray to be removed and I wasn’t greeted with the friendliest welcome, and the owner had an attitude when it came to the enterprise employee asking for some sort of payment, that they agreed to because they took fault for the overspray but it still seemed inconvenient and annoying to them. If the job was done right the first time and my paint job/windows/wind visors/mirrors didn’t have overspray all over it, I wouldn’t have had to be such an “inconvenience” to them. I picked my car up Thursday (2/15/24) from Langs with my dad. The car looked good but upon further inspection there was still over spray around the edges of the windows, the plastics of the mirrors, window trim, and my wind visors. The owner Al said we could leave the car another day and I told him no, I didn’t want them touching it anymore especially after he tried assuring us that his guy took it in 2-3 times to make sure he got all the overspray. That must be a lie because the edges under the windows still had some overspray on them, as well as the plastics of the mirrors and the black window/door trim. I wouldn’t be so obsessive over my car if this shop took the right precautions from the beginning. Overall, it was a terrible and frustrating experience and they tried to rectify the issue but the lack of customer service skills and compassion is very evident in their work. I do not recommend Langs or their service.

I went to the shop for an oil change, wheel alignment, and tire rotation. When I picked up the car, it was shaking so much I could not drive the vehicle above 40mph. I returned so they could fix the weights, and they said the wheel was the problem. So for a car I did not have any issues with balance before, I can not drive above 60 mph after I had the service done in the shop. There are plenty of better options in Federal Road

We have been going to them for years to keep my Subaru cars on the road. I always feel respected as a customer and treated fairly. They are very honest when it comes to what the price and problem is with my car. Did some work the other day on my 2013 chevrolet (bad battery and other problems)brought the car to a bunch of mechanics prior to that .that was a mistake I should of went to langs first .the absolute best there is in the Brookfield Danbury area . Honest upfront not trying to scheme like other places as long as I’m in this area they’ll be who I go to. Langs is the place to go .

All I can say is avoid them. They don’t take information from customer and instead replace the most expensive parts that don’t need to be replaced and even with that poorly performing simple jobs. Once paid I tried to discuss with them but no reply. In addition recently started servicing vehicle (oil change) myself and found broken bolts and missing oil drain cover. It’s too bad … they talk a good talk but obviously don’t get it…. I would advise any customers to second guess work needed and unfortunately double check work they do. Live and lean unfortunately.
