I have been going here for years since our local butcher went out of business. They have a great selection of meats that are all of very good quality. Not only that but they have homemade things too. The service is unbeatable and Sammy is a great guy. Please support your local butcher!!! This guys are top notch. ??

We went for the first time last weekend. They were busy, but service was quick and very friendly. I asked what was on-sale, and he suggested Rib Eye steaks. The ones in the case were too thin for us to grill, so we got them 2 1/2" thick -- they cheerfully cut them for us, right away.
I bought a quart of their delicious cole slaw ($8.99) and a quart of their homemade beans ($7.99).
The steaks were $35 apiece. Mea culpa because I didn't ask prices, nor did they offer them up. There are plenty of things offered on little signs, but there are no prices on anything. So be careful.
I sampled the beans while grilling the steaks. They were delicious, and obviously made from scratch. Same with the delicious, home-made cole slaw (it's got horseradish in it -- we love that, but some don't).
The steaks were breathtakingly tender. They didn't look like Prime grade meat -- but I guarantee you these were restaurant-quality and worth every penny.
We plan to return at least every other week.

South Side is the only place I will buy meat these days because meat at the grocery store is disgusting. Always quality meat (and best chicken cutlets and Italian sausages around) and they also have some delicious prepared food. The guys are super friendly too!

I try to shop at local businesses but this one is an easy sell. Quality is the best around, service is spot on, and somehow they still have good prices with sales as good as you'll find anywhere.

I hired them for my wedding on 4/20 and boy they did not disappoint! Everyone talked about how phenomenal the food was! They were super easy to work with and the staff were absolutely wonderful.

Amazing meats and even better customer service! With the super markets taking a complete nose dive with quality, I was on the search for a local fresh meat market. This place has all the standard meats you may need (fresh whole chickens, breasts, thighs, ground beef, steaks) along with deli meats, kielbasa, pasta sides, marinated meats. Just went for the first time yesterday and ended up going back for even more today. If you care about meat quality and want to get as close to home grown meat (without raising yourself) as you can get, this is the place for you. Five stars isn’t even enough!

Not knowing what to expect when I walked in my first time I was alittle nervous. Sammy greeted me right away and showed me the ropes. He was professional, knowledge and incredibly helpful. He showed and explained everything to me. I bought a bunch of meat, some even cut to my preference which is so awesome as it takes the work out of dinner prep for me later. I had two bags and immediately wondered how I’d get them both to me car but Sammy didn’t even hesitate and carried the bags out to my car for me. The customer service is amazing and the quality of the meat is even better. I will never get my meat from a grocery store again. Highly recommend this place!
