I was lucky enough to be referred by a friend 21 years ago. Dr Hansen is not only knowledgeable but compassionate. I would be lost without him, not only for the care he provided to my fur babies but also for the support and guidance he has given me with them over the years. He was even able to provide cold laser treatments to my arthritic dog with hip dysplasia which helped to relieve pain and extend his life.

Kris is an amazing vet: keenly intelligent, thorough in exams, treatment and communication…Staff is professional and friendly. (my dog agrees with my assessment!)

If you want your best friend to suffer, then definitely bring them here. During my cat's final days, we couldn't even get a call back from the vet for three days, even though they were fully aware of his unstable condition. Also, never received the medical records and they seemed extremely unwilling to get a second opinion. Suspicious. Finally, while we were putting him down, in our final moments with him, the vet decided that was the best time to discuss payment. Not before, not after, but during. Couldn't recommend this vet any less.

I have only good things to say about Ash Creek. Dr. Hansen saw two of our cats, who were both rescues (one is a former stray) and can be very skittish. I was nervous they would be too anxious to handle the vet, especially because I couldn't go in with them due to COVID, but he was able to get them examined and vaccinated quickly (and even trimmed their nails!!) while still making them feel comfortable. They were in a great mood afterward and didn't seem traumatized at all! I took my third cat to see Dr. Dailey, who is clearly a cat lover, and she also took great care of him. She was attentive to a concern I had and took me seriously while recommending a course of action that wouldn't involve any extreme or costly treatment. I really appreciated her honesty and expertise, and she was also super friendly and sweet to my cat which is always a plus. If it's hard to get appointments right now due to COVID, it's totally worth it. They take a lot of precaution and the receptionists and vet techs are very friendly and efficient. The visits were quick and stress-free. Honestly, I think waiting in the car is more helpful for cats, who can get anxious from all the noises and smells in the waiting room, and sort of hope that can still be an option in the post-COVID world for those of us with jumpy pets. Ash Creek is a little pricier than other vets I've been to but COMPLETELY worth the investment for my pets to receive quality care from people who clearly know what they're doing and who I feel I can trust--I've been to several different vets and that's not easy to come by.

Dr. Dally is patronizing and un professional 6 months $1800.00 dollars over six months to have her tell us vinegar and water might be cure to skin and ear problem solved in 2 visits for $600.00 @ Quarry ridge over double price charged for sempurica and heart guard meds until dr. Hansen returns worst vet in fairfield county

Dr. Kris is the best and so are all the fine folks at Ash Creek - I don't ever write reviews and going to the vet is usually a painful, expensive experience but these guys (and gals) make it a trip to look forward to. Highly recommended!

You can’t get any better with the staff and the doctors at Ash Creek. Very professional and they will answer any questions you have. The pricing is excellent and they really care about you and your loved animal/pets. They helped me with my 20 year old cat and treated him like it was their own pet. Kris Hansen and his staff are exceptional! I brought my dog -who just passed at almost 15- to Kris since he was a pup. He loved being there, which was a first! The caring, professional and excellent treatment he received over the years was wonderful. Not only did Baxter receive the care he needed, the communication, comfort and care I received went above and beyond expectations! I recommend Kris and his staff to anyone who loved their pet!

Ash Creek Animal Hospital and their staff are awesome. Dr. Kris and Dr. Rebecca Weitzner both helped diagnose my Coco's condition (two separate issues were happening), and through the proper medications, Coco is back to being herself again. I love my little girl and I am so very pleased with Ask Creek. Thank you again and again.

I cannot say enough about the kindness and great care both my dog Eddie and I received when I brought my Australian Shepherd during a recent sick visit. Dr Weitzner and assistant Jeff went out of their way to make the dog feel safe and secure- and they are so professional yet so loving- it is clear they truly love their work and the animals they care for. I give them a 5 star rating!

Everyone was friendly, the rooms were clean and they listened to my concerns. I didn't like that they only do one vaccine at a time making you go back to pay for tech visits for each additional vaccine. For that reason I won't be going back.

I absolutely love this place. Dr. Kris and his entire staff have such a knowledge and love for animals. I went to Dr. Kris for years prior to moving out of state and my mom still takes her dogs to Ash Creek Animal Hospital. My dog ended up having a very rare form of cancer in her mouth and my mom mentioned it to Dr.Kris and shared that I was having a difficult time figuring out what direction to go in to find the best care for her... Dr.Kris called me around 5:30pm when the office had finished with patients to chat with me and talk me through what were the best steps to take. This selfless gesture was by far the most heartwarming experience I had throughout such a difficult time. We thank you Dr. Kris!
