When I tell you Ralph keeps it ?, I mean he keeps it 110. He knows his stuff, he's a cool guy overall, and his repairs are top of the line. 11/10

This jeweler doesn’t even deserve 1 star but in order to review I had to pick a star. I left my jewelry to be fixed almost three weeks ago. Was told 1 week to ten days and a phone call to me when ready. When 2 weeks went by I kept calling and leaving messages to call me. No one did. I went there after the weekend on Monday and the store was empty and closed. I got very nervous thinking that they went out of business. Asked a passerby if she knew anything about the jewelry store. She said he makes his own hours. Always different. She said she also got nervous when left her wedding Diamond there awhile back and no response. But she got her ring back. So she thought I would too. I went back today. Again almost three weeks and the two bracelets had not even been fixed yet. Tried to tell me he was waiting for the parts to fix it. I asked why he didn’t call me to say that or answer my phone messages. I took my pieces and left to go to another jeweler. Besides the place smells awful of cigarettes, showcases are dirty and lots of clutter everywhere. Just surprised in an upscale town like Branford that he is still in business there. We were looking for a new jeweler new to the area but we are obviously still looking.

I can not recommend this jeweler enough. He has repaired 2 rings for me and done a beautiful job at an extremely reasonable price. Most recently he replaced a battery on a pretty expensive watch, he charged me $8.00! It took him much longer than it would take to change most watch batteries but did not charge for labor, only the cost of the battery. I have previously had this watch battery replaced by 2 other local jewelers and have been charged much more than this. I will not be using any other jeweler from now on, nice job and thank you for your honest customer service.
