The Vet was so companionate and gentle with my 9 week old puppy . The vet tech was wonderful . I am very thankful that I was seen so quickly .

Called late at night when my dog was under the weather, got advice from the kindest woman who listened thoroughly to my entire situation, spoke with doctors and just generally helped me a lot. I ended up waiting until morning to take my dog to our regular vet but am incredibly grateful for the help Bolton Vet gave. Thank you!

WORST VET EVER. I have had the worst experience with almost every single staff member i’ve spoken to. They have been EXTREMELY rude. They charged $240 for them to LITERALLY only weigh him and $90 for a referral from another vet, without disclosing that information. The vet herself had such an attitude and was HORRIBLE at handling my cat. The receptionists have been extremely rude and condescending. They are refusing to call and give updates even though they said they would. I work in service so I would never be a “Karen” but I have NEVER seen worse staff and never had this bad of an experience EVER. 0/10 recommend, plus they’re extremely overcharged.

Turning away emergencies! Call before you travel. Staff explained they are transitioning to a non emergency location.

We tragically had to put our cat down in the middle of the night/morning recently. Bolton Vet Hospital was extremely helpful and calm on the phone to help and advise me on coming in while we were in a frenzy. They were extremely kind and informative in their care and walking me through the process of putting our lovely boy to sleep. Very grateful for their compassion and professionalism in a difficult time.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! I've been a client for 9 years. Needed to get 1st & 2nd shots & spay for my kitten. Was given an appt. , then when i called back to get an estimate i was Rudely told that they were not excepting new clients & they are short staffed ..I'm not a new client. I'm in their Computer system. But a few months ago they had plenty of staffing to assist my older cat with dehydration and & ear infection costing me $1600.00 dollars out the door!! I found out Petco does vaccinations cheaper & not charging an outrageous visit fee , only pay for the shots. I will look else where to have her spayed .and to the girl who was rude to me, You should not be in a customer service job. You are not professional! This establishment just lost a good paying customer!

My beloved pet was recommended to have a minor surgery. Blood work required prior to surgery showed excellent results according to several doctors. The same of surgery, our beloved family member was sent back home. 3 line post procedure instructions. We took him back 5 times since something was off or so we thought. Last visit was fatal. We couldn't believe it. The staff blame our beloved family pet. As stated, her temper didn't let the doctor check her well, as well as the assumption that all pets get anxious at the hospital. Meaning, they ignored her medical history. Afterwards, they promised the manager will call us. It has been over a month, Noone ever called. No remorse, no apologies, no even money reimbursement for the negligent care. No even a call to check how everyone else in the families were doing. Not a word, not a call. 2 stars as some of the aids were nicer than the managerial and medical staff. Or it would have been a 1 star. We are afraid of our other family pets, getting sick. Bolton vet is the closest to our address. Scared so scared to have other family members get sick. Trapped?? The place knows they are the closest in the area. So trapped. People die. Pets die. But not consolation when there was no reason other than sending family members home too soon. We Aldo heard that they have been understaffed. We wish we knew, no surgery then, our beloved family pet would be alive still. Honest post. Truly honest. We did not pursue dilemmas, too hardbroken to argue. True and honest post.

We used to go there and they were ok but in the last month we had 2 emergencies with our Rabbit and their staff on the phone was very uncaring and rude especially when we called about euthanasia for our very sick baby. Despicable, cannot ever recommend them for anything.

Vet has gone downhill over the last few years. Definitely not what it used to be, disappointed with customer service.

Absolutely horrible sense of compassion. Staff was clueless when putting down a beloved pet. Took about 5+ attempts for my boyfriend’s cat to finally be put to rest. Traumatizing for the cat and our family. Would not recommend them to anyone. If you’re looking for a vet that actually cares for your pet(s), go elsewhere. A sad situation made ten times worse.
The horror stories continue with Bolton. Hanging up on a paying customer due to voicing a concern is completely unprofessional. Refusing to treat an animal in pain? Disgusting. Terrible place.

Tried to bring my dog in, or get a refill his hot spot spray, as he has a quickly growing hotspot. I was told they could not see my dog unless it was 3:00 today (I am at work) and they would not be refilling the medication unless he is seen. The problem here is that his hot spot is rapidly growing and he has been seen for his yearly checkups and blood work and their records will indicate that he is a healthy well taken care of dog. It’s disgusting that Bolton vet would rather see mh dog suffer, than to provide the care that they should as his medical care provider.
The horror stories I have heard from others is deeply concerning too. The reputable vets that built up Bolton vet are gone, and now money is their main concern. Disgusting.
Front desk staff - do better, animals are family to people and your poor attitude and hanging up on paying customers is sickening.

It’s concerning that no matter how long you have been a patient, no matter how many times your dog has been seen… they care more about money than the well being of your animal.

We had a surgical emergency with our pet rat that left us calling every emergency vet we could find. These guys were spectacular from start to finish. The receptionist got us a prompt appointment but also checked to see if there were any closer facilities that could see an *exotic* pet, emergently. The tech was great, our doc was great (she even gave us local recommendations to pass time waiting for the surgery) , and discharge covered everything we needed and then some. Seeing an emergency vet is pretty low on the list of things I wanted to spend my Sunday doing, but I could not have asked for a smoother, more caring, or competent experience.

We took our dog to Bolton Vet after waiting for hours at Pieper and they were extremely attentive, kind and informative. My dog was seen almost immediately and given really good quality care, despite it being late at night and having other patients come in. The staff were all wonderful, I highly recommend using Bolton Vet in case of emergencies
